I received The Grove as well which is stupid for me coming from Sherman Oaks. I have to drive either through or around Beverly Hills to get to the Grove.

I don't think that these spots were planned out that well.

What other gathering points are there? I see Chevoit Hills being mentioned which would be closer for me and not require me to drive through BH. Anything in the Valley/Studio City area?

I received two emails, one said the grove and the other said cheviot hills :) cheviot hills is closer to me and to BH so will do that one.

Does anyone know if we will be trapped there all day or can we leave whenever we want?

I'm sure it will happen-- it would be TOO embarrassing to Ferrari as a brand if nothing took place.

I never received an email response either. So I emailed Anne McKinley at: [email protected]

She emailed me the info/meet point. In regards to parking, it said:
"There will be signs and traffic control people to assist you with parking once you pass through the arch."

Email says that you must vacate the area at the latest by 5 pm. This event is a mess. Hope Ferrari does not taint it's brand by screwing this up.

I think its going to be some kind of feature like the overhang across speedway tracks with somebody waving a checkered flag and counting cars............then again maybe its a rainbow and at the end we all get new Ferrari's!

    Trip to:
Wilshire Blvd & N Camden Dr
    Beverly Hills, CA 90212-2420
    3.33 miles / 10 minutes
    Estimated Fuel Cost: $1.18

I'm a little upset about the estimated fuel cost of $1.18 on the directions. Do they know that we're dealing with gas guzzling, carbon foot print hogs? :)

Way back, originally, there was some mention of a charity party, which I presume would be after the show because you couldn't have it the next day, the following day being Monday.
I'd like to know the address
    when the party starts?
how big the contribution to charity will be?
whether you have to have the little metal badge to be admitted?

As far as those expecting to see aliving breathing La Ferrari, the publicity i heard and I quote Autoweek

"Cryptically, Ferrari also said the event will herald the debut of a new car “dedicated to collectors in the United States.” We’re not sure what that means, but we’re excited about it. - See more at: Ferrari celebrates 60 years in US on Oct 12 | Autoweek.

I can't see a La Ferrari model as qualifying as an "all new model" because it made its premiere some time ago and all have been sold, so maybe this is a new-new model? They couldn't think we are so dumb we don't know the la Ferrari made its debut some time ago but us peasants in America don't know that.

Sorry I have more questions than answers but from the way the info has been coming out, this event is not going to get the award for a "smooth roll-out."

Intriguing but how would they meet the laws about bumpers--energy absorbing, air bags, etc. What chassis would they base them on?
Maybe you are just pulling (our collective ) leg and I fell for it.
However, Ferrari has built replicas before. I think a few years ago when they wanted a barchetta and the price had already risen too high for collectables they just had the students at their tech school build them one.
And even if copies of NART spyders weren't legal here they could be sold in other countries.

If these were serial numbers never built, it would probably get the original year and not need to meet any new standards

I asked the FCA and this is the reply I received "If you need to leave before the event has ended you may."
