My 944 taught me that matching tires are overrated. The car handles BEST if at least 2 of the tires are from another century.

Bonus points if those two tires aren't both on the front or rear.

    ;)

(note: best in this case is defined as "most terrifyingly")

I have a friend that specilizes in LS motors here in MD. He can do a very nice tune on one if you ever go for it. The LS motors are also the engine of choice for drift cars now too.

    You mean it handles like a 911? :) I kid, I kid...

Etmracing, thanks for the tip. The cool thing is that, soon, I'll have access to lifts, machining equip, etc. so I can easily and inexpensively do the grunt work and then have someone tune it and make it all more cohesive...which I admittedly know exactly zilch about :)

What are you guys using or front a arms? In your experience what would you recommend for the suspension? Was looking at assorted racers edge components. I have a set of Clubsport Motons and I was trying to decide on where to use delrin, spherical, etc.

Great to read about your build Michael B. Could you share your source and specs of your radiator build? Thanks. Mike.

    Scott98,

Thanks. Yes, I've checked them out. Yhey use a Ron Davis rad. I was also checking out Griffin and C&R. Trying to cover all bases especially for track use.

Since the 944 motor is essentially half of a 928 engine, has anyone explored swapping in a 928 motor?
