I don't. My buddy is going to loan me his contour camera. The exhaust is load as hell, and I like it ;)

I really should not mess with it - I'm just curious what a full challenge exhaust would sound like.

I bet it sounds good. So you don't have the bypass valve or cats any longer? Who built it?

I have OEM headers, OEM CAT's, OEM Bypass value. The only custom piece is the exhaust pipes that replace the muffler. Dave Ninehouse in AZ made it for the second owner back in 2000. I don't know who Dave Ninehouse is.

Yes. A twin-turbo making about 600 HP at the wheels. You'd like it. It's yellow. :)

dave, I wouldn't mess with it. your current setup is actually probably louder then a challenge system.

well, I bet your current setup still screams at high RPM's? The challenge exhaust will tone the sound to a deeper lever. More of a Pavarotti sound, instead of a tearing metal sound. The challenge system sounds very similar to the stock exhaust...just with more volume. I built my own system that consists of straight pipes out of the headers, with a dump system coming off of the secondary bypass. It's still valve actuated, and everybody assumes I'm running a Capristo (but are confused on why it's louder).

here's my setup. (never mind the bad shifting, I had just taught a rather young gal pal how to drive a stick, she's still learning...I know, im brave....)

I thought I read in a previous thread that you owned a Top Speed exhaust?

I did own one. It wasn't their Challenge model...it was the regular one. I ditched that one, bought a factory Challenge exhaust, ditched that, and now use the one I built. It's the best of both worlds. Tearing metal F1 sound at high RPM's and Challenge roar at lower speeds.

You do, Rob. You have the Challenge exhaust silencer for tracks with noise restrictions, similar to mine pictured below.

Right, Dave. The other is the "special exhaust silencer" for unmuffled tracks...

Barry, how does challenge exhaust with silencer compare with the OEM exhaust or some of the aftermarket systems(Tubi, Capristo, Nouvalari) in terms of volume and sound quality?

Do you notice any difference in power between the Challenge exhaust with silencer and without?

    Thanks
