There was a verde F50 in my dream last night. Has anyone ever painted an F50 that color?
An epic moment in my life ...... Late 90s Ferrari of SF in Mill Valley, the side showroom. One of the employees let me into the "side" showroom south of the main building ..... There it was one of the F50 GT cars, I starred at it for a long time. Still have the old school pictures.
Thanks for clearing that up. You never know these days when people are asking 1m for a wrecked and rebuilt f50.
I'm searching for an info: sometimes I've read - F50 for sale bla bla bla... with "official Ferrari power engine upgrade" -. anyoine know what about this upgrade-kit, and final Hp and Nm output?
it was not a webpage, but an italian magazine, some years ago, called autosupermarket. I've seen three different advs about F50s (different color and Kms) with "F50 with official upgrade" if I'll see an advs online, i'd happy to link it
From the given link... "They're very unforgiving to drive and despite the very dry weather conditions, the driver clearly gave it too much welly and spun the car into the lamppost." Too much welly? Can someone translate from British to American? I assume this means they accelerated to fast? Glad everyone is all right...T
Well I am not particularly fond of Ferrari's in Red (or any other car) and finding an F50 in a color other than Red is an extreme rarity as you will know. Here's a question for you Joe from a friend - are you aware of any Yellow F50s still in the USA besides the Swap Shop car? Especially any that might be here in California? The son of the Equatorial Guinea President had one in Malibu for a while but it was exported I believe, then likely part of the asset seizure in France later. >8^) ER
Yes, besides Preston H's (Swap Shop) F50 in Florida, there are another 2 Giallo USA-spec F50s I am aware of. The car you speak of that resided in Malibu was not a USA-spec F50.
Henn's yellow F50 left the factory as Rosso Barchetta and was later painted; and it's a Euro car, not US-spec.
As far as I know, he and all of his possessions are gone and the F50 was later part of the seizure in France. Right - but I think it still got driven a time or two when it was here. One was spotted in this area and I figured it would have to be that one. Yeah - that part I knew. His was the F50 that raced in the UK which he had to fight to import. They only made a handful in Rosso Barchetta - shame to repaint the car. >8^) ER
It was spotted at the Country Mart Shell station in Malibu, July, 2009, so it was definitely driven around.
