Dave, It is not a bad looking wheel but has a new style to it. Something you would probably see on a 458. A Momo wheel similar to a 360 wheel would fit the car better. I could be wrong though. Try it out.

A couple of questions if I may. Who flowed and ported your heads? Have you any flow /gain sheets available?
Also In the engine rebuild, why were the Pistons and piston skirt oil Jets replaced? Thanks

Flowed by the infamous Gary Sharpe. He actually did a good job and the engine builder was impressed but not by anything other that he found. I have the flow numbers before and after in a chart and I can find them.
The skirt jets were replaced because they were all broken and laying in the bottom of the pan. If you are not careful in putting in the pistons and rods you can hit them in the install. There is only a few mm of clearance when you install. The previous engine rebuild was poor. Many on this site that had Sharpe do work for them will attest. The car needed rings and the liners redone most likely because I had a bad thermostat and fuel was most likely washing down the cylinder walls. A Ferrari ring set is really expensive so it was almost cheaper to do pistons and rings. The bore was also make slightly larger and pistons are slightly lighter in weight.

Thanks. The engine, suspension, brakes give the 355 the performance it should have instead of a nice looking car with a good exhaust sound.

Yea i know what you mean about the skirt jets, i was lucky because mine were not broken and i reused them.
So you might have new oversized bores/liners then, because standard ones cant be over bored due to the nikasil coating.
I resused my pistons because they were in great shape and i lightly honed my bores to seat the new rings. The rings were from superformance and were not as expensive as one would imagine.
Hey thanks for the information, very interested in the head work.

I would love to experience your car. I believe more steering feel and suspension mods for better handling would greatly improve the base car. My s2000 had 3 way Moton coilovers and it was insane the handling.

Is Valence USA still in business? Tried to call them and email them regarding the carbon fiber center console for my 355 but no response? Any idea?

    Thanks

Don't know if they are in business. My console was the first one they did 15 years ago. They did fantastic work, but were unreliable as far as getting work done. I,think I waited a year for them to do the console and instrument panels.
