Beautiful 599, GLWS, white is such a great color for Ferraris.
Lew , I'm shocked your car has not sold . It's the best looking 599 I've seen . I may get a white car next after seeing yours .
+1 - this is a different stratosphere for many buyers though. However, truly something unique and those factory photot's are worth so much~!!!
Man, that is one gorgeous ride - GLWS, cant imagine it has not gone although the Market has been pretty crappy lately. Wish i had the space for this next to my white Scud
Low ball bids at least get the process started. I think the cars that are similar are listing for $220-$225K. I don't know what they're selling for. This is an opportunity to get a great and rare 599 GTB with HGTE. There were not many of them in white and its a real hit wherever I go. This car is quite optioned and has the premium radar and laser detector and laser shifters (not jammer). I gotta get out of this car to maintain two homes as I'm closing on both places by the end of the month barring any financial issues with the buyer of my place or the sellers of the new place. Willing to strike a deal!
Sorry, I just took a beating in the stock market and am concerned about the throwout bearing. Has the car ever been in an accident? Let me do some thinking.
Lew, I hope this post doesn't upset you (you know me from the 599 section) but IMHO a $175K cash offer is not a "lowball" offer when you would take $192,500. What would a dealer offer ? You know I (and the whole 599 section) thinks your car is a truly gorgeous beast with no issues, but it does have some miles on her. I know that just means your 599 is well sorted (and well maintained), but assuming that this is a legit purchaser, why not just split the difference at $183,750 ? To the potential buyer - if you can find another 2010 Bianco HGTE with all the goodies for $175K then by all means buy it. Lews car is truly a beauty and you will not get a better looking car. This is a one shot deal for Lew. Take advantage and get a great 599 ! Hope to see you in the 599 section with your new steed.
I have lowered my price from $225K to 210 to 205 to 195 to $192.5K I have not seen anyone willing to come up to me! I suspect $192.5K is the very best deal, by tens of thousands on any 599 HGTE out there. I can always keep it...just prefer not to.
There is nothing wrong with making an offer. The economy is tenuous, the market is soft. Sure it is a wonderful car; I think it is beautiful. But why bust on a guy for making an offer? The seller can (and has) said 'no.' No harm in offering.
I just checked the online listserves and you have not only the least expensive US spec. 599 GTB HGTE for sale but also the only white 599 GTB HGTE for sale (in the USA). Somebody will get a great deal on a rare tough to find color.
FWIW I did not see anything wrong with your post...but I'm not a moderator and not in charge...and we must respect their decisions. No hard feelings here.
