Caught it before anything happened. It's had both rads replaced and it looks like it's coming from the middle front of the engine. Could it be a rad hose?

Writing as I wait for a tow.

No doom and gloom please, I know better.

I've had leaky water pumps before. I can't imagine a pump dumping it all out like this, unless it fell off :)

Undoubtedly the water pump fell off, dropped the cambelt, bent the valves, holed the pistons, bent the rods, scored the crank, broke the trans, flatspotted the tires. Car is now junk. But, since I'm your friend, I'll help you out by giving you $100 for what's left! (followed by long discourse about somebody's incompetence, what you should do about it, and why I'm so smart......modesty is one of my best qualities)

'course, it's probably just a hose.

    I had something similar.
A loose hose clamp from the last major between the two rads.
Mine was not obvious & took a while to find.

Check all your clamps from rad to rad.

You forgot cracked the block that's why it is leaking.

Eric when were the rads changed? Do you have some miles on the new set-up or has the car been working well for a while?

DAMN all that stuff Plugzit mentioned AND a cracked block, what's the vin so none of us buy it.
We will all be praying for a hose clamp, a cheap fix is always preferred.

Maybe the car puked because it now knows its stuck with the black wheels since you put the nice wheels for sale.

Ok. I'll give you some light relief: my bet is a hose has rubbed against a pulley up front and has worn through.

The tow will cost more than the repair.

That or it's what the others said. ;)

When I got my car it had coolant leaks. I took it to classic coach on their tech day and the clamp on the hose on the front of the engine was not on correctly. The guy that did the major didn't get the clamp over the flange on the pipe. It was squeezing the hose but not the stub.

They told me that what happened to you would have happened very soon. Hopefully that's all your dealing with.

Need to remove the coolant reservoir and maybe the deck, lay on the engine and you can just about get to those clamps

    Good luck.

I knew It! These car are worthless pieces of ****. Why we spent more than $1000 to buy one is unknown. We are all saps. When were the belts last changed? You probably wrecked the engine. Scrap value for sure :) :) :)

    I kid of course.

My water pump seal is shot and will be replaced this winter. After long drives it spits out a 1/2 cup of water over night.

What you described may be what caused my water pump problem though.

The previous engine out mechanic decided that a screwdriver was a great tool to pry hoses onto the connections. He semi punctured a hose and it blew out on the highway.....excellent display for my freeway companions as I had a rooster tail. *sigh*

Made it home, but the water pump cavity went dry and cooked the water pump seal. I replaced the hose but the smell of coolant was evident and after a year turned into my current leak.

    Best of luck

More than ten places it could be leaking in that area. I've had issues with aftermarket hoses developing leaks. Might be just a clamp.

Is from top the only way to access those hoses? Not from the bottom?

Rent a coolant system pressure tester from Advance Auto. Screw it into the res and pump it up.

That was how they confirmed mine.

The hoses connections are high upmon the front of the engine so approach from the top is correct.

Find a pic of engine out from the front to see where they are.

My laugh for the day! The pressure test sounds like THE answer producer. Good luck, Eric.

Anyhow, pressure tester worked perfect. New hose installed. No leaks. It was a pita to get too. Hands all pretty mangled.
