Taffy , you saw the size of the pipes on the BMW V8 , that's impossible to pull off on the LM :)

The design of these resonator / expansion chambers we're building look almost OEM on the LM which I like and it's all bolt in for ease of maintenance on the transmission.

Sounding better , getting an 'air ripping' sound on acceleration passing through 3,500 rpm

Will sound much better when the engine and ECU are set up properly

Lots of clearance around the pipes so no touching on the chassis and vibration problems.

    Lambda sensors installed already.

Still thinking about a crossover pipe later.

    I'm happy with the installation.

Taffy , more to come , once the engine is correctly dialed in and tuned and a few hundred km on the new rear muffler.

Quiet at low speed and wailing at high rpm is always my goal.

The sound @ 6000 rpm is already awesome at current condition.

Most of that is getting rid of the 2 to 1 neck behind the headers and giving the engine some volume downstream to breathe.

This mod was easy , to go more extreme would take at least a week to fabricate something bigger that still fits , the LM in spite of it's size doesn't seem to use any of it's spaces efficiently, there's always something in the way.

I like to design and fabricate exhaust systems

Here's what I pulled off on my old BMW 530i V8 daily driver (3 litre quad cam, 5 speed manual), very happy with the result , dead quiet at idle and low rpm until you step on the gas

I haven't put it on a dyno but on the 'pants dyno' feels like it has a lot more pull over 4,000 rpm

    No passenger cabin booming

It will sound even better when the 4 litre V8 goes in.

    Dear Taffy
very happy that you all get.
Sorry to bother you, I would like to ask once again you advice.
    we need:
    exhaust valves
    inlet valve
    and
    chain tensioner assembly (Solid Type)
I asked http://www.eurospares.co.uk Claudio told me that tensioner has been discontinued and there is not alternative for replacing yet.. may be you know ?
The LAMBORGHINI PARTS, SERVICE and RESTORATION told me that they have (https://www.lambostuff.com/product.asp?prid=5862) but it looks absolutely different and the price to high :(

If you have information where you can still search tensioner and valves please share.

    With much gratitude
    Andrey

"Two pipes from the header into the chamber without turbulence"

Still turbulence but less restriction by avoiding the 2 to 1 join that is normally there

For the time being the seats has big velcro tapes to secure them in place.

The piece you see that runs around the lock is part of the main dash and has the wiper switch attached to it, the indicators on the other side are attached to the column , as yours is RHD, I guess they may have made a panel that screws to the underside of the dash!!!
