will trade an '82 injected 2V X1/9 in original factory Rosso Arancio on nero w/recent belt service for a early steel GTB heh, it's worth a shot!
My condition 1, 4x Concours winner It's about time that these go up in value, as stated earlier, it's a first for many things Ferrari. Its the Grand daddy of the current 458... and for the rest that come. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Vine I sure hope you get the GT4 someday. Just so you know, I'm thinking of selling my toy and getting three 355's just for fun.
There was a blue one on ebay for 65K, then it was gone? Must have sold? Have had mine for 10yrs now! Keep them prices going up!
I would think that the prices on the GT4 would go up quicker than the other 308/328s due to having much smaller build numbers, makes them rarer and they are the only Bertone designed Ferrari. So many of Bertone's fabulous designs such as the Miura, stratos and so the list goes on... Are increasing in value as we speak. Let's see what breaks out, the only problem is there are a lot of very very run down and non genuine cars out there and I believe those cars have helped influence the low market prices of the today and the past. Just my 2 cents, if it's worth anything...
Damn. My resolve to keep mine an unenhanced driver weakens. Its in the shop for paint remediation now and your engine pics have me thinking about the next step. May have to up the agreed value yet again.
Hmm... the Mondial 8 is trending towards the 3.2, which is still in the "driver's car" price range. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thats how i felt, it really is pretty rare and i didn't even know it existed until about a year ago. Pictures don't do it justice.
While a love the angular styling of the GT4 it isnt as graceful or elegant as the other Bertone designs like the Miura. It also hasnt had the visibility or general popular appeal of the 308/328. I do hope it does well, but also hope it stays a bit more reasonable until i might have the chance to own one. PDG
I saw a nice GT4 at Safeway today between two pickups. Somehow it seems more vulnerable now that it's worth so much more than the last time I saw this car at the mall a couple of years ago.
This is Condition 3+ or worse Condition 1 is this: Mario Bernardi - Klassische Automobile - Cars for sale - Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino 135.000,- EUR / 170.800,- USD
European prices are on another planet. A lot of vintage Porsches in the US have made the journey back across the ocean. I wonder if this is the biggest disparity ever between the US and Europe, pricewise.
For what it's worth- I have turned down THREE different offers for my 13,000 mile fully restored 75 in the past month- and my car is NOT for sale and NOT listed anywhere. Guys just asked around if anyone knew of a really great GT4 and my car popped up. One of the guys I spoke with seemed prepared to offer me WELL north of $70K but my car is not presently for sale. (I'm in the market for another one actually) When I started the restoration process two years ago common wisdom was the best GT4 on the planet was in the $40K's... Of course this is happening right after I sold mine!!! at least I got my 348 before they're next someday.
Maybe true in lower conditions... but not in condition 1*** The US Auktion results speeking another language - only for REALY PERFECT cars
I don't know the ebay car, but ... I know the other car in person, I know every screw the former owner has changed, I own the sister-car (same prev.owner, same money spent - over 200k EUR / 255k USD in this particular car (mine)). This car is definitely NEW - not "like new" but "new" I don't know the US market, but I know many US Ferraris (and other european brands in US-Versions). I also know the judges in many concorso and I know what a car has to be for condition 1 or "best of show". And I know, that this will take many years and a lot of money to create a real condition-1-car. And I know, that no one ever would offer his condition-1-car for only 69k USD. In Europe a US-Model GT4 would be offered for approx. 30k EUR Sorry, just my opinion but I could be wrong and the ebay GT4 is the deal of the year - I don't know
Clean your computer screen. This car is not represented as a pebble beach car, if that is your definition of a number 1 car.
