I sent another request to Pirelli U.K. they came back with a "NO" I also contacted Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek, Nitto & Procomp, Procomp came back requesting more info on what we require, MT/DC cannot help & Nitto no reply.
As soon as I get something positive, I will post info.

    Nick,

A new mould to make 345/60-17 would easily cost $200-$300k. No factory would invest that much on a tire for a car that was only 300 made :) This is purely business sense.
Pirelli has the mould for the tire, and the retail price was around $700.

The cheaper solution is to made a custom wheel (ADV for example) in 20x10.5, get 325/50-20 tires and You can pretty much have same total height, 2cm narrower tires, and better turing degree with 20in since You can adjust the steering angle wider.
Each wheel cost $1450 down here including tax and shipping, so I think it is much cheaper USA or Europe.

If You order a custom wheel I suggest the offset is 10mm more than OEM.

Seems "too cheap" for a wheel that would support a 3 ton truck.

The above pictures are from Lamborghini of Houston LM002 that is for sale.
Seems to be missing a few parts and not all original.

Lots of bling bling inside and paintwork but problems hiding underneath from the look of the size of the oil leak patterns under the floor, this will be an engine out for new gaskets at a minimum.

I said to Taffy the loud exhaust is a sales gimmick but would get on your nerves after a few hours.

It's loud but not overwhelmingly so. I've ridden in it and it sounded awesome going under a freeway overpass. That was the only LM002 I've been in so I can't sure how it compares to ones with a stock exhaust.

Already sold. Not for that price though. Let's not hijack. If others are interested, let me know and I'll start an LM value thread. I have real data. ;)

    Hi Chad,

I think a value thread would be interesting.

The timing is right as in my view the LM is just starting to slowly rise up out of the lowest point of the value curve.

In the 18 months we've been working on this project my impression is that the LM002 has moved from the $80k to $125k range to $100k to $150k for a reasonable unrestored example.

In future I think the buyers of these cars will be multiple model Lamborghini owner/ collectors that want to add a piece of oddball Lambo history to the collection and are able to pay well for a good example of what was one of Lamborghini's lowest production runs. Of the 300 odd built I would guess maybe 200 still survive as running vehicles ?

Yes, but not legally , but I've never known ANYONE to get a speeding ticket here.

There's no radar and a 'friend of mine' has personally passed a police patrol car at over 200kmh in a 100kmh zone.

Just don't hit anything ! Then you've got problems. And there's LOTS of trucks and slow morons in the fast lane , no lane discipline.

Surprisingly very few big accidents , the only explanation I can give is lots of practice playing Grand Theft Auto or other video games plus the drivers grew up with this sort of traffic mayhem and can read the traffic well.

Watch this driver pass a parked highway patrol car at 4m 40s ... and I wouldn't be comfortable sitting in the passenger seat.
