I don't recall the resolution on that dealer crashed Enzo. Did the owner just get paid out and no replacement car?

if i had the money for 300k i'd buy that thing. i bet it would just take 300k to repair i can't see how it would take 850k. Parts only cost so much you just need a really good body shop guy working full time to make it perfect. While i'm at it i'd convert it to a 3 pedal manual and have the rarest enzo in the world. ah one can dream.

Yes, this is what i was most curious about as well. Would the dealer's insurance cover such a claim? Given the fact that the mechanic was out driving it like an idiot? If not, I'd have to imagine that the dealer would be in a world of hurt financially to have to pay that out.

There was a big thread about it going in one of the sections but it was painful to read because there were a lot of people trying to protect/defend the dealership. Can you imagine? I lost track of it and forgot about the car until now.

IIRC, the Enzo was with the dealer to be sold on consignment or prepped for sale so the owner was probably happy to be paid the pre-crash value of the car. If the dealer and its insurance company didn't come up with a deal for the dealer to repair the car, it would seem to me that this is a risky proposition for any purchaser.
