    Squat?

Squat sounds like the past tense of something.

Well, perhaps I'm an old f.rt at almost 55, but you do not remember the 312T5 of 1980, do you?

Add the F92A and 312 B3 to that list.

Well, that maybe surprising, but I must admit that I have a soft spot for the B3 and all its different itterations: the original one that was a dog, the "spazzaneve" (= snow-plow) that was the application of Forghieri's "polar moment of inertia" theory, and also the final evolution that did a creditable season in 1974.
Add to this that there was an atmosphere of "cloak and dagger" in the B3 destiny, with the banning of Forghieri, then his come-back from behind the curtain (one of his come-back, I must say) that's pure Ferrari stuff...

I'm not saying ferrari have not made some dogs how micheal won in 96 was as epic as anything anyone has every done next best in my time was vettel at Monza that was pretty handy work there to . My point ferrari has the biggest budget in f1 now and there are joke in the 80s honda was spending more then anyone . Heck Toyota was spending 300 million a year and ferrari where making 300 million a year at the same time selling hats and t shirts and now ferrari has a guy in the number two that cost fiat 120 million and can't even finish in the top 15 in the rain at Suzuka and this weekend he finished last with just 18 cars in rm the race

I meant the original B3 and the spazzaneve, the 1973 season was low ebb for the Scuderia.

Well yes, 1973 was low ebb, but comes 1974 and they were battling at the front again; this due, in no small part, to a young lawyer that managed to bring all energies together towards a same goal. His name was: Luca di Montezemolo...
And 1973 is therefore, to me, one of the most interesting seasons in the long story of Ferrari: the phoenix came back from these ashes.

Agree - 1974 was one of the most interesting championships with Ferrari back from oblivion, the rise of Lauda, Regga in the title hunt right to the last race, new teams and faces including some bloke called Hunt - a great year.

In fact, if I could have any F1 car it would be a B3 from that year - I had a very large framed poster of Lauda at Spain on my wall for many years - I still think they were a very good looking car that epitomised what F1 was about.
