    Hello,
Can anyone tell me where the license plate light(s) power comes from? My car has the connector (both sides) on the lid for engine compartment, but no wire from body to the connector....I know from diagrams it is fed from right rear taillight(s) and grounded to lid.
Can't seem to find the missing (power) wire to feed the light from body harness to connector.
    Thanks!

IIRC - There's a connection at the rt side hinge point. It might have fallen inside the bodywork. Yikes! I don't know where you'd look to find it. Possibly up above the right rear wheel fender-well. At that hinge point is a spade connector in a white plastic connector cover which clips to the hinge. That runs thru the rear deck to the license light.

Stay patient, and you'll be the expert on this.

If it fell in, use a magnet.

If it was pulled out (gone) rewire by using a messenger wire from the top down into the frame wiring.

Sometimes things can be "fished-out" with a shop vac... its worth a try.
BTW, plumbers regularly use shop vacs to extract items from sink drains.

If you remove the rear right plastic inner fender lining, you can see the very visible. Mine was too short and that's where I added and solder a 5" extension wire to have an extra slack.
