The T11 stands and concessions were gone as well as the stands across from the biergarten (T7?). Attendance was definitely down. I loved the PU sound and the new F1 fans I dragged to the race had a great time, especially with Supercup. Traffic control was much better, the food options improved. Overall, I think they're doing a great job. Anyone see the Sky Saddle and Cowboy Monkey? Now that's just fun...
I only hope that At&T improves service. Speeds were a joke on Sunday.

The Saturday Challenge race was best racing of day and the Supercup on Sunday was the best.

I had no cell issues, Rob was texting me pictures and I sent quite a few messages to my son as he tried to get on the track and get some parts from the Sutil crash. That was a whole other story.

Took me an hour to get out of the track on to 130. It sucked. Didn't help that I didn't leave quickly, but I don't remember it being that bad in past years.

I had a guy make a really snotty comment about my 'nice Ferrari' when I stopped for dinner in Temple. Like I didn't know that the Chevy Cruze wasn't a Ferrari and I hoped to fool people. The shields were on it as a JOKE. I had on my Ferrari shirt, my Ferrari hat, and still had my Ferrari ticket holder around my neck. Maybe I should've shown him a picture of my Ferrari?

As always, traffic between Austin and Dallas was horrible. Had a guy ride my butt for 10 miles in the left lane then RACE around me on the right when an opening finally appeared. He pulled in front of me, hit his brakes, then started to ride the butt of the car I'd been behind for 10 miles. Not sure where he thought he was going to wind up.

traffic was worse than last year and not sure why as overall less people. we did everything the same T12 F Parking coming and going same times. maybe more people were parked in that area this year? we still got out easy Sunday leaving at checkered flag.

I wish I had thought to print Tilke's isometric of the track, it's a 11" x 17" grey scale graphic with no overlay of text at all, but quite a display of the elevation changes!!!

    Great race!

They have intentionally forced folks back to the other side of the track..

    I warned people ALL weekend:

"Don't go past the Turn 6 entertainment, it's nothing but rocks all the way to T11!!!!"

You could run OUT of beer!!!

    THANKS Will!

It's SO hard to find a picture of me working!!

I put on a sport coat the next two days, for the chill, and immediately got puled into VIP Services, Red McCombs suite, guiding in to the Paddock Club, Quervo booth...

Rick Perry showed up on Race Day, and I ghosted on down to T2, with Richard Moffitt, (Willie's lawyer.....).....

    Care to share it here?....

Its seeming like Tilke/COTA may have built what will become a classic here..... Hopefully anyway....

    +1

But not according to many in the peanut gallery!

But then many here seem to take great delight in how miserable F1 is, there's no overtaking, there's too much overtaking, it all sucks, F1 is dead etc...... It's unsustainable. It's a joke. ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

It's on a flash drive somewhere now but I will definitely find it, makes a great fan hand out!

I have long wanted to do an event t-shirt too, to give away to all of you!
Or, maybe $20 would be a break even deal at cost.

That "maybe next year" attitude kept them from some GOOD times!!
    We partied like Frat Rats!!

    Sounds like a great deal
There are just two US locations listed. Should this matter to those who don't live in the areas?

It doesn't matter if you live close or not, you still get the full welcome pack, invites to all the local club meetings and events and we all still meet in Texas and meet our friends in red. As we expand, you will eventually have a local club to watch all the races with and then you will all travel down to Texas together. We also go to Monza, Spa, etc.. Today I just picked up two new members who live in Slovakia!!! BTW, My partner Luigi D'Angola has just come on-line in Tampa. His papers were official at Monza! We are heading to Daytona next, going to met with Fisico as we haven't seen him since Monza 2013 at dinner.

Denver became legal with Scuderia Ferrari on Sept 3rd, 2013 after 7 years of work:

so Scuderia Ferrari Club is the new official club of Ferrari? I see they are mostly Europe based, any other chapters besides Denver? So basically you are like FCA, but tied closer to Ferrari SPA?

We are not like FCA, we are co-owned by Scuderia Ferrari. So I incorporated Scuderia Ferrari Club of Denver LLC, 501 (c) 7 sports team charitable organization and received 1 share of Scuderia Ferrari Gestione Sportiva stock from Scuderia Ferrari for their ownership in the club. Yes, primarily the clubs have been in Europe but we are here now with two clubs in Canada, Toronoto - Antonio Folino and Montreal - Ernesto Agnelli and 3 in the USA, Denver myself, Philly - Mike Domanico and Tampa - Luigi D'Angola So FCA is sponsored by Ferrari SpA but we are owned by Scuderia Ferrari and can use all their legal trademarks, etc.

So they issue us our club banners:
    https://www.facebook.com/SFCDenverLLC

    We report to Massimo Rivola.

Our website will be formula1.ferrari.com here shortly, just waiting for the switch over..

BTW, we are looking to open a club in Texas.. Rob we would love to talk with you about that!! Just sent you a friend invite on FB.

FCA does a great job, not sure why we need another one. The timing is a little odd a few years after Ferrari went around the world strong arming independent Ferrari clubs. I don't think Ferrari should be involved in "fan" clubs except if they want to partner on some things. Seems like some conflict in interests.

FYI, clubs and events have to be sponsors on FerrariChat to promote. Members can talk about events after, which you did, just no promotion of club or upcoming events. Thanks.
