Hi all Am looking to buy a European based 208 gtb or gts turbo (1987-89). Have preference for Red exterior and Crema interior but will consider other options. Preference for cars with under 50,000kms and in good condition Service history would be a must. Thanks for your help. Luis
Well, if a 87-89 it is then a Turbo Intercooler, so either a "GTB Turbo" or a "GTS Turbo" but not a 208 Turbo; but that only nitpicking...there is one "GTS Turbo" for sale right now in France. In which country are you, Luis? Rgds
I based in the UK but happy to buy in Europe. I think that GBP75k is a bit too expensive for this vehicle. Looking to spend EUR35-40k Looking for car with no modifications (original alloys etc...) thanks
The one for sale in France is at 55k; we should ask Alberto if the "Turbo" prices are following the 328 prices tendancy... Rgds
At that price (75 k GBP), i can sell my pristine 1988 GTB ABS single owner with 24 k certified km (16 k miles), red-cream with red carpets with even the leather factory oem cream leather hood finish, first paint, unrestored and untouched everywhere. It's not for sale, but at that price, it becomes for sale. ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i think sooner or later the turbo intercooler will cost as or more than the 328, as it's even faster, rarer and the first turbocharged Ferrari ever. But 75 k GBP (96 k euro) are an enormous amount of money: at that price i sell, even if it's a show car that can win the best in show.
also here in Italy prices for very good cars (with every single documents, tools, serviced and so on) are between 50 and 60 k euro, with the average ones in the 40-45 k euro range, but they are increasing quickly. Sometimes you can find some cars under the 40, but they are becoming very rare. I purchased my ones (except the pristine one you see here above) all in the 35 k range just some months ago... Just n. 308 GTB turbo were produced and among them, i think no more than 50 had the ABS system (my two GTB turbo both have ABS) ciao
as i wrote here many times, the turbo intercooler is the car where to put your money. The pristine shown here above, was paid 50 k euro (including service, delivery and so on) less than three weeks ago, on october 16. The prices are "low" just because it was a car sold just here in Italy, but when they will be spreaded across the world, prices cannot be no more those. It's a fantastic and exotic Ferrari, with an impressive power and boost, a great intake and exhaust sound, very rare and the first Ferrari road engine turbocharged ever. I started to put my money also on the standard turbo, that is a worse car, but even rarer and even better looking. This said, i'm still impressed that someone can ask almost 100 k euro for a red black one like that in the ad: maybe it means i wrote a good tip here on F chat, some months ago, suggesting to buy that model. ciao
Alberto, your car looks fantastic indeed. Interesting to see that the rear spoiler is painted red as opposed to black.
As said many times: the body-colored spoiler was available on ordering the car at no extra cost...except that french 328s all had black ones! Rgds
Well, for standard 328 prices are rising also: FERRARI 328 GTB QV coupé Rouge occasion - 90 000 ? - 33 000 km - vente de voiture d'occasion - Motorlegend By the way, that car is interesting: it has been advertised for the better part of two years now, and still no sale. It began at 60.000 euros two years ago, no sale; it has progressively risen to 90.000 euros in a number of increments, following "the market"; still no sale. Perhaps it is NOT ENOUGH, and it will sell at 100.000 ? Rgds
My 88 GTB turbo was full optional: ABS, body color rear spoiler, the inside of the roof in seat matching full leather. I think one of the top five in the world. I have another '89 GTB turbo ABS red-tan that is an ASI gold plate, in excellent condition and fully serviced, but it's not even close to that beauty. Ciao
It looks that some dealers do not want to sell cars but just declare an high value of their stock maybe to have some bank credits: here there is a dealer that has two 911 3.2 speedster since five years. They started at 60 k euro, now they are at 200 k each: no sale since 5 years, but if you offer him less than the asking price, he doesn't give you the car. Who knows! ciao
