Interestingly, the two pics are taken several moments apart, as you can see by the position of the car on the track.

If I try really hard, I can imagine that Maranello has its own magically controlled microclimate (think Imladris / Rivendell) and that all trees and bushes are permanently maintained in the most pleasing way and therefore never change.

Yes, that explains it. You are wrong. We have both got pictures of our own cars.

Actually, I was interested to read about your colour choice earlier this year, as it was one I had not heard of or considered. I did love the Rosso Maranello "cherryness" and that was tough call. But when I saw how the fuoco highlighted the curves (we took the little car paint models out into the sun to compare properly) I plumped for it.

+1. Would really like to see more of this car in that color.

    Thanks

Something does not sound correct, if they built your car, they had a production slot for the dealer, then it is shipped to the dealer. Should not go for storage as they must invoice and ship it. I think there is more to the story. IMHO

Rubino needs some sunshine to really 'light up'. Great color there that shows off the styling details very well!

Holy Fuoco! That color is wonderful. I have Maranello and it has the awesome cherry. Tough call though.

Yours will be outstanding with the Cuoio leather and black carpets. Great choices!

    Quite simply, STUNNING!

i am not a fan of red at all, however this is beautiful and i have no regret in choosing this colour for my Speciale A - however in 3-Layer hoping to darken it a touch

    Cheers!

Have you ordered a 458 SA in Fuoco or the Rubino shown in clockem's pictures? Fuoco is ONLY available as a tri layer, and I've never heard of Rubino as a tri layer.

Sorry about the hi-jack, just a little confused.:)

I'm getting it in rubino 3 layer and since it is the first one will be assigned(given) a new name. Current proposed name is Rosso Nello

Aha, I see, thank you. That name has a very nice sense of class and freshness to it. How will the tri layer differ from the normal Rubino?
I'm a bit like you I think. Not a fan of the common reds, but some of these darker and deeper ones such as Rubino, Fuoco and Fiorano, are simply amazing.

Looking forward to see pics of that car and colour. What's the ETA?

Just a FYI, the detailer I have used for several years (he was trained by Todd Copperman), checked the thickness of the paint on my F12 and said it is 3 times thicker than my 458 which was TDF Blue. I know I paid extra for the color but I did not pay the triple layer price for it. The pictures above don't show it but the metallic paint really shows with and without sunlight.

F12Kid I am sure yours will be spectacular. When do you expect it to arrive?

Congrats! You won't be disappointed in Rosso Fuoco. It's one of my favorite colors, I have it on my 16M and love it!
