New bearings are in. I asked them to replace all TPMS today as all batteries were low low low. Annual was done in June. This car is ready for a new owner soon!!! Who wants it?

I cannot believe this is still for sale. My only guess is some people fear the 15K+ miles - even though we all know that these modern day cars are meant to be driven.

I personally think it looks great in WHITE. As I said before...my 430 is also still for sale, so I can't have both.

The 15k miles are not a problem with all the bearings replaced and the service done.

It is a good price , but don't forget, if you buy Lew's car and bring it in to Canada, you're looking at 14% exchange plus 6.1 % duty which equates to $224k Cdn . So FOQ's Rosso Corsa 599 hgte is priced right... And the Rosso Corsa car has roughly 12500 miles , so pretty similar to Lew's car... Lew, you just need the right buyer to come along. GLWS, gorgeouse car!

    Agreed.

Unfortunately for Canadians, the bargains in the US are no longer "bargains". In addition, there's the container shipping and hassle or work required to bring it over the border including administrative/ inspection processes to obtain the proper documentation to register the car in Canada. While these charges aren't high considering the value of the vehicle, it's still a bit of work and hassle....

    Very nice car, indeed!

    Cheers,
    FN

Hi Lew, your car is magnificent and I wish you all the luck with the sale. I think you are a very patient and generous seller for repairing the car. I've got my eyes peeled for anyone that we can put in that gorgeous car.

The car is fabulous. I'm taking it from Sea Ranch to Mendocino tomorrow. Should be an awesome day for a superb drive. There is nothing like a 599GTB HGTE cruising up the coast.

We haven't seen or heard anything from Lewis for at least 48 hours, and he has not responded to my PM, therefore I am assuming he is busy and/or sold the car...

Hang on to this for me until next summer?;)

I'll be moving up to a 599 then and this is the most beautiful one I've seen to date. Absolutely stunning. The white really pops on this car. Really pops. Much better than red over tan. GLWS!

I called my Hagerty agent and (hypothetically) told him to quote me a premium on Lewis car, as he described in his add. They quoted $2,550 per year with a $500 deductible and an agreed value of $180,000 if totaled/stolen/etc. What do you 599 owners think of this quote? of course, the car "would" be driven in central Texas. thanks.

Why would you do a $500 deductible on a $180k-ish car? I have a $1k deductible on my '07 Audi, and the difference in the deductible almost pays for itself in the difference of the premium price ANNUALLY.

it was just for the sake of getting a quote, and keeping the deductible consistent with the deductible from the other cars. I agree. If this happens I would bump dedctble up to 1 or 1,5 k.

Try State Farm. I'll bet it's half of that quote. Good luck

My f-car is with state farm. But if you are going to pay Hagerty prices - I would go with Chubb. I got a quote for $1900 per year. I pay $1250 per year with State Farm with $500 deductible and $500/$1M Coverage.

Good call on the State Farm - Just know they do Stated value - however, doubt it would be far off from $180k

The quote from St Farm is about what I pay. Car still available. I'm loving driving it. Mileage now above 17K. 599 is an awesome Ferrari.
