Preposterous offering. Price is outlandish despite the adds and condition of the car. Looks like lily gilding to me in order to get a premium price. Good luck. Probably bought at sub $50K and the adds were warehoused.

This guy never quits. You really have to admire the chutzpah.

In being as diplomatic as possible: it involves the listing (for sale of a particular 355 lemans blue spider with red interior. It had been for sale on Ferrarichat and ebay for quite a while.

The car was salvaged (title) by an insurance company and sent to auction. No one really cared that the car had a salvage title: The "entire" group of members at Ferrarichat with over 20,000 views (or was it 50,000) and as many comments, felt that the listing was not forthcoming about the title status and the aftermath explanation of this claim did not pass the smell test...

Normally things go south badly when a seller's pride gets in the way of a simple up front description of cars for sale and when history of a car is brought up by those on the forum in hopes of full disclosure... You see where it went...

The thread was deleted. Much popcorn was consumed. None of it was really necessary. The seller just needed to be straight and friendly from the beginning. Doesn't everybody like that when buying a car?

Now that was a great diplomatic summary!
