Honestly, will this car be driven after the restoration is made? I think the work you're doing is absolutely beautiful, but if I were the recipient, I would be afraid to even back it out of my driveway lest an errant bird poops on it or the mailman kicks up a pebble.
The intent is to drive it. No different than buying it new in 79 and driving it. This isn't really a restoration by definition. The Orange 76 prototype is a restoration. It's a suspension and paint job and the engine is used. A few other things are being freshened up but still not a restoration.
I love the GTO/F40 style wheels. Where did you get them? I've been looking for something similar for my 308.

+1 -- Having the proper intake system really enhances this modification. It isn't a "Testarossa powered Boxer" (which would still be pretty cool) -- it's a "Boxer with 4-valve heads"
