Fredrik, it takes some time to figure out how it is all assembled, once you do that it's easy.

I will create a short video later today.

I guess you will be doing "interior" work. Your forecast look grim. It's a balmy 35 here this morning.

Boy I'm missing the warm weather already. :(

So this is priceless....I'm looking at the small panel in the ebrake boot and it's a darker brown. It does not match the beige at all. I turn it over and the leather folded on the underside is a perfect match. So I think "wow, this must be crazy dirty" so, I proceed to hit it with the steam cleaner and I find the panel has been dyed. Not sure why soneone did this because the leather below is perfect.

Now this is a great testament to not redye leather if you want perfect results. While it was not easy, I steam cleaned the top coat dye off without harming the original leather. Needless to say, original leather dye is a far more robust process than redye

It really depends on how you do the dye process. Plus, you do not want to change colors as the base tanning will be wrong. I have seen some re-dyes that looked perfect and wore well, but it (like painting) requires a lot of careful prep. If you just spray over the old leather without prepping (sanding etc.) like that appears to have been done, it won't turn out well.

I'm really pleased. I was expecting to recover the tunnel but it cleaned up very well. A couple of minor scuffs that I will need to touch up but it's 99% pristine

Thank Rob. If I lived around the corner from you, we would be having a drink at Newport looking at hit woman instead of being snowed in :)

Pete, that dye was on really good. The heat of the steam is what removed it. I see my drivers seat bolster has the same bad dye color. My guess is someone used that panel as a test and clearly blew the color match.
