Yes.. it is a little unnerving to know your car might have a problem with entry but the key is getting a letter of certification from Ferrari NA. Once I got to the right guy at FNA it wasn't bad (assuming your purchase is compliant). This letter basically states the car complies with all DOT and EPA standards. You will need a customs broker to handle duty fees and an international hauler to bring it stateside. If your purchase isn't compliant, that is a entirely new discussion.

Gorgeous car, Keith. I'm sorry to see it leave the great white north. I guess we're just the great north now?

I spoke to the seller and he seemed like a very knowledgeable guy and trustworthy. I was ready to buy the car but the import stuff scared me. I told Bret if he could get that figured out I would buy it. It's ok, I wound up buying a Diablo instead. Best of luck with the TR!! Looks like a really sweet car.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes with the new ride. The import scared me too but I got it figured out and decided to move on it. It is a very nice one. I have looked at many and this is one of the best I have seen. Someone asked about the mileage.. Converted it is just about 20,000.

Let us know as soon as you get it. I'm sure you will not regret you buy. BTW I've decide not to sell mine. Too much of a car for what they sell, and it's sooo nice and soooo cool!

I have always found chocolate, brown or whatever the color is not to my liking with the exception of the ivory, cream, or white combination found here. It works! What are the correct words for these distinctive colors?
