Nice work Dave. Something to do on a snow day. So you had 6" of snow this morning. How much now?

I've got about 2 feet now and it's not done. My sister and father have about 4, they both live a bit more north. Looks like I'll be home again tomorrow too since the forecast is not looking good.

I'm sure I missed it, but what are you using besides the steam to clean the leather?

That is one badass garage. I am still in the "stuff accumulation phase" with 3 teenage girls. I keep my F355 up on my lift but consider any day where nothing gets bumped into my 550 or 12C down below a good day.

The rapid pace with which you are transforming the new Berlinetta is a clear reminder that you're a single guy! Keep up the good work!

Dave it looks awesome. You can preserve it and probably do 90% of the sticky. Can't wait to see updates. I recently bought a 1998 f355 spider and Love it!!!!! It needed a lot of work and with everyones help with prior threads etc. I felt very confidant.

Lol! Yep, I'm single. Has it's pros and cons. The Maserati GT is now in my shop (not loving that), the 98 F1 GTS is in the lift bay, the 95 GTB in the middle (where the 98 is shown) and the DD BMW is parked where the 95 is shown.

Parts all over the garage and basement. In spring I plan to add a 4 post in the middle so I can keep all 4 cars at home.

As of today, no. The objective (now) is a stock restoration (with exhaust exception).

Gerry D wants to trade Amber lens for the clear I have on the car now and I plan to do that.

I removed the roof trims tonight. All that is left in the interior is the dash and carpets. I'm awaiting a special bit for the air bag, my 98 is a torx the 95 is an Allen security bit.

I really wanted to remove the carpets to clean them but I think I will now try to do so in the car. The weatherstripping needs to come off (which I did part way, easily) but it appears the carpets are glued on the edges and I'd rather not disturb that.

The headliner (cloth) is also glued in so that must be cleaned in car also. I wish this was a leather headliner.

If this continues and Dave is stuck at home, his winter project will be done by Tuesday. :)

    :) :) :)

Well, it's so crapy out that I don't feel like doing anything. I lost power about an hour ago. I have a home generator that's running now but I needed to go out and dig around it so it could exhaust and get intake air. Plus, it was low on oil since I was planning to do an oil change any day :(

Filled it up with oil and all is well except I have propane here and I don't know my tank level and they probably won't be on route tonight.

To conserve propane I shut off the garage heater.

Been locked in the house since Tuesday. I did nothing yesterday, hard to focus.

Aside from my dash, I now have every leather interior piece out of the car, have them all cleaned and most conditioned. I cleaned the roof trims today and the first coat of Leatherique conditioner is applied. These should be done tomorrow.

Waiting on a security bit to remove airbag so dash can be removed.

Was at CJ Ferrarj and Enzo their head tech had a 355 on the lift putting skid pads on it. I thought you might like to see the lift points he uses.

Bob, if you review my lift point document, I believe those are the exact locations I use. There is only a few options and I use the unibody frame areas which appears to be the same in those photos.

Much appreciated, Bob. But, that's one I've already skinned with the help of Mitch.

One down, many more to go :)
