Coming back from the Cali road trip, my interior, which had not been too bad since purchase, finally became too much. So I have started removing the pieces. Most will be headed directly to Robbie at stickynomore. I replaced the mirror console plate with the one from Ricambi in conjunction from Stickynomore. So while I am no mechanic, it seems easy so far and it is a good connection with the F-car. Huge difference and that's only one small piece. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login

Received my center console parts back from Robbie at stickynomore. They look great. He added the new flags on the ashtray from Ricambi. My older one had some scratches. Can't wait to get the car back together. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Once the OEM coating is removed, a new problem-free coating is applied. I'm not aware that the new coating will EVER get sticky again. Check out his site. Robb
The coating/paint that sticky no more uses should not ever regress to teh OEM problems, neither should any of the paint the DIY guys use either
The OEM finish was a rubbery feel that probably felt fancy when new. I have a new Fiat that has what I suspect is the same finish. Stickynomore's replacements are hard plastics and painted metals that typical modern cars use. It will not degrade like the original finish.
Pretty sure SNM just refinishes your existing pieces. I could be wrong though, thats at least how I htough it started out. I could be wrong on this too, but I thought SNM started here as a DIY thread and then the guy who started that thread then tunred it into his business.
Yes, you're right. I worded poorly, been tired from work. SNM refinishes with typical plastic and metal (ashtray cover) paint finish, unlike the unique rubbery finish used by Ferrari. Much more durable.

Yes, we refinish your existing parts. Was never meant to be a business, just did my parts and then a few guys parts here to help them out. One thing led to another and I retired early as a police officer to focus fully on SNM. Best thing I ever did.

Thank you Robb. That is helpful. That is more satiny than I thought it was as I had my vents done by SNM and i Thought they were more of a textured finish but I didn't take a macro shot of them. I think the PO or one of them had some of mine just destickied but not painted so I am looking at unpainted plastic. I have disassembled and painted a few and am happy with them and I believe they look like your picture when done. The overlay for the HVAC is definitely more textured than your photo. Its all good though in the end. The pieces just look great no matter how they're done if you take your time.
Hi Chris. The instrument cluster surround wasn't done by SNM. Someone had wiped the sticky stuff off of it without removing and disassembling it. The gauge trim which is silver had a yellowish tint to it from the sticky solvent that was used. I took it apart and painted the gauge trim and properly did the surround I just did the gear shift part and the 5 switches were never destickied. I just sent the center vent to SNM as I wanted the decals right. It hadn't been done I did the door handles after my wife said what's this black stuff on her fingers. The drivers side seemed ok but the passenger side was not. The spider switches were sticky. I just did them. The frame for them was sticky and I broke it removing the switches. The inside of the ashtray was sticky. Just took care of that. The side vents are the only pieces that were done by SNM before my ownership.
Mine must have been done before I bought it because I have no sticky parts...I am really curious if you can feel the difference if between OEM parts that have not gotten sticky yet and ones done by SNM
Yes, If you rub a finger on the original oem painted parts, they will get a bit sticky with friction. Its hard to explain but you can tell. I really don't know what kind of paint they use and IMO it is not a rubberized paint. I have seen parts do the exact same thing in other cars including VWs and BMWs. IMO ferraris suffer more because many like to spend more time cleaning them than driving them and the overspray of the many chemicals used over the years ends up reacting with the OEM paint especially when the car is left in the sun a lot.
