Well I can go with that, AFAIK you are not Hamilton fan, but can see it for what it is and who deserved the title.

Hamilton, somewhat made qualifying look irrelevant, with his start.

Regards Ricci he has totally impressed me all year, an amazing driver.

Massa again respect is due on this race, he did very well.

    Bottas also.

Ah well I know I certainly won the award for most enemies made on fchat in 2014.

Sellnit; VIPLeague aka VIPBox | VIPBox | VIP Stand | Free Live Sports Streams then go to formula one and they have the race replay at a specific time depending where sky have it allocated to play it should play at that time and you just need to convert to your local time and watch the stream at said time:

Anyone know anything about the Abu dhabi test? Will it be televised and available on the stream? Will a thread be made about it here or does nobody care for that stuff

right...so driver of the day can't be Hamilton....he did the hard yards all year, but this race required little of him. Let other drivers get SOME glory, will ya?

Yip. No fan of Ham at all, but I've said it a few times before in the last weeks: Rosberg threw it away in both Austin and Suzuka when he didn't even defend from Hamilton. It disappointed me a lot.

IMO it was very close between the two but Hamilton edged him, in most races when they finished 1-2 they finished very close together. Had Rosberg defended harder it might have been a different story, but that's his own problem. When he reviews his season he can learn from it and try and beat Hamilton next year.

Malaysia and China: nico 17 and 18 sec behind. Suzuka 15 sec behind. Sochi 10 sec behind. And 2 other races he was 5 sec behind. Bahrain 10 sec behind before sc wiped out lead.

Team orders....just like the last race....."keep X distance from Lewis"

no biggie...they know what's going on more than we do.

Rosberg lost it at Spa...Although this gave him points the philippic afterwards seemed to have more impact on his psyche than he would ever admit. He made way to many mistakes after that and lost it on his own. Obviously you can not afford making this amount of mistakes against Hamilton who had his mistakes rather in qualy than during the races.

Both Hamilton and Rosberg where off the track several times this year and although the tarret run-off areas are very good for safety reasons they tend to excuse to many minor mistakes that might lead to a DNF in the former gravel run-off areas...

I'm not even going as far as saying team orders (it's near 3 and don't want to debate on the internet). Tool just wrote it down for me: apart from Malaysia and China, the difference was tiny. Sochi alone, 10 seconds behind despite having to overtake the entire field and doing the race on one set of tires is telling enough.

He probably meant with the 5 seconds the difference is ****ing massive though.

Use the Hola plugin for google chrome and go to the BBC iPlayer. Works a treat, much better than those spam overloaded streaming sites.

In reality nico was off the pace (sometimes sligtly and sometimes a lot) in every 1-2 finish except Spain and Brazil.

Sochi is hard to measure because of the rosberg error and fact hamilton didn't even have to push and just maintained the gap and would put in a fast lap where needed then go back to cruising 2 secs slower per lap.

In terms of Brazil lewis probably had the better pace too but that was obscured by his own mistake. Nico was unable to maintain the gap like lewis did in Sochi that's for sure. With lewis pulling back the entire 8 second lead his mistake cost him and at his closest being .3 sec behind and looking for a way through.

Nico has the raw pace for sure. If he can convert that talent into race pace consistency then he will be lethal next year. If not then it's nimber 2 driver status

again, no one runs flat out for much of the race, so how can you know anything?

the whole race is about not using too much fuel and tyre conservation.

Real racing is history, if it ever really existed.

For example, Nico was told to stay 2.4 seconds behind lewis yesterday so that some tyre strategy could come into play.....that could have been the case for both of them almost every time.

Maybe if the cars could run flat out all race long, Lewis would have won every race he didn't break down in. Who knows? not us.

In other words....it's hard to make a blanket statement like "Nico was off the pace "

"Maintain the gap to lewis" is not a team order. Lewis was told the same in a previous race this season; to maintain gap to nico look after tires. But he just went and passed him and disregarded it. When the engineer/strategist says that to their driver they are trying to give them the best chance of winning

It is a team order....or would you prefer suggestion?

But Lewis....well, of course he disregarded it, because he knows best and is the best.

For me it comes down to Lewis 7 poles converting 6 wins from pole versus Nico 10 poles and converting only 3 of those to wins. This shows a huge difference in their racecraft. When it all comes down to the end 11 wins to 5 in equal machinery. Lewis is truly number one.

    Best Regards

Yep. I'm glad Hamilton won, I just really wanted to rub it in toils face if he lost. There's always next season.

I'm waiting for the conspiracy theorists to say MB sabotaged Nico's car.

    Hey yeah...didn't think of that!!!

It's obvious...Lewis could never beat Nico in a fair fight.
