1995 rear bumper has a pair of seperate fixing plates that bolt to the inside of the bumper for the inner fixing mounts...these are part numbered.

Later 5.2 cars have these plates complete with the bumper...no seperate part numbers.

    1995s' interior never goes sticky.
    Later ones all do.

Intake cams are different to accommodate second cam phase sensors, sump cover is different to accommodate second crank sensor. I believe throttle bodies are different on 2.7

Great thread Dave. As a 95 owner, I'm finding this fascinating.

    Thanks, Henry

Thin (~1.5 mm) front shock mounts for 1994 and 1995 cars. They are thicker from MY1996 on.

This was a problem for 1995 Challenge cars with their Challenge shocks and 1800 lb (and later 2200 lb) front springs which could result in cracking. The 1996 F355 Challenge Manual issued instructions for bolstering the front shock mounts. It might also be a problem for early F355 owners who have upgraded their springs and shocks.

Post a pic. If so it's not original. I tried running it this way on my previous 5.2 car and it does not run correctly in crosswind conditions due to the induction being "Y'd" together behind the maf sensor

Just looked at my engine out photos and they r original just like ricambi has in their parts book. Heavy insulated hose. I will post a pic when I can or if someone can tell me how to export pics off my Facebook I will do it right away. Other wise have to wait till I'm at my computer in California.

Ok, just wondering how close you looked at it because on 5.2 cars the induction hose runs directly under (actually touching) the duct at the rear of the 1/4 windows.

And your saying if you run it the other way from the ducts the car runs funny?

By not run correctly what do you mean, idle, wot, I would suspect even in cross winds the faster you travel the less effect, but just a guess.

Yes, because the induction y's together it will get cross flow that messes up the maf signal. If I was at a steady cruise and there was wind from the side I could feel the car nose over and surge from going lean.

Reconnecting it to the factory configuration fixed it.

No, he is stating that 5.2 inductions connect at the corner of the windows.

I'm saying they go under the duct at the windows, squished above the radiators and connect to the door scoops.

Even with your y system tied together ie, using both your original over the rad hose and the window hose it did this or did you just feed from the window like jay did? The reason I ask is my car definately does not die going lean.

Are you sure? My 95. Also came with a manual for the HiFi system. Could have been added later, I guess.

That looks like the same system my '98 has, and I'm fairly sure that it was only available with the later cars, so yours probably had it installed afterwards. Happy to be corrected though.

It barely made it past the first page before losing the plot, but as I'm a man of my word...
