I sent you a PM. I am in Houston as well with my 355, looking forward to seeing more 355's out on track. SRR
I run the VP101 + NGK PMR8A for the 5.2 Plugs as my car is a 99. I have run the Shell URT 105 but, it's no longer being made/sold. The VP101 showed great results at COTA last time there early this year. Great Thread!!! To ALL: I have an OEM 355 Challenge Exhaust Muffler for Sale (164783). Ciao, SRR
So had a family friend and expert body guy help straighten the entire car. Stripped everything down and painted the car its original Rosso Corsa 300/12. We removed and replaced the front windshield and all of the lights, grilles, etc with NOS components. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
We had all of the original graphics circa 1995/1996 duplicated by a custom sign company and had the original OMP Challenge seats re-trimmed in OMP Nomex material in Blue. All of the original OMP patches were saved and we re-embroidered the exact FERRARI Challenge images in their original locations. I will probably remove the Sabelt safety belts and reinstall the original OMP belts or purchase new OMP belts. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Threw on a modern Ferrari Challenge decal for fun from the most recent track event with Ferrari Fort Lauderdale. Image Unavailable, Please Login
They look great!! The original OMP belts are still in great shape but the buckles have some corrosion...
It's an OMP Targa. The actual OMP Challenge steering wheels are hard to find but they're around. I have 4 - two 348 Challenge wheels, on 355 Challenge wheel, and one 360 Challenge wheel. The first two are MOMO and the last two are OMP.
I pick up my car on Tuesday and will post photos. Here's the steering wheel. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well that's just plain gorgeous. Is it a 348 wheel that has been recovered in alcantara? Who did the work? Robb
That looks like my OMP 355 wheel with a 348 horn pad put on it. I'm not sure for what challenge car that's the appropriate wheel, although I am not sure it matters since that wheel looks so beautiful. My 348 wheels look like that except the horn buttons are in the right place - only 348 Challenge wheels are suede with the horn buttons on the outside and the center pad. Sorry for the bad picture but I'm not at home at the moment. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not sure on the steering wheel. It was the one on the car when I bought it. Ferrari of Houston has an interior guy they subcontract out to who did the steering wheel, dash and seats. I've attached one of the photos that I took when I first saw the car. It was pretty rough when I bought it. I'll post more when I pick up the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I picked up my car. Ferrari of Houston did a phenomenal job. I test drove it this morning with Haris. It's fantastic. I can't say enough good things about my experience with FofH and their work on the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
