Regarding the Domani TR, it might be a great car, but the customization turns off so many potential buyers. When it comes to custom, bolt on/bolt off is always a good idea.

My mistake,i was referring to the white TR they have for sale. I see they have a red one for sale as well. From the looks of the interior, they got it from the same source.

See, that's the issue with all ferrari's that are tired.

The tired ones get decent pricing compared to great drivers, and garage queens because many people think they can fix it "cheaper" than anyone else.

Really, the tired cars that need a sympathetic restoration like you are posting should be selling for less than half or a fraction of a good car, but they never do, messing up the market for the majority of people that have a good /great car to sell.

Then what happens ? It trades hands, they hack/ cobble the car , can't get it to where it needs to be , and sell it again as a car that was painted at a collision centre, and interior rug 50oz from Home Depot ....then It comes on fchat and eBay and 3 pages of high fives as a great car ;)

And the rest of us with good original cars are measured by the few cars that are passed around like this, and the public thinks thats the price and condition of a good Ferrari.

How many miles on the car you talk about Tom ? To me, sounds like a car for a mechanic.

How do you know the final price...inside information? I cant see it on the listing.

I wonder how much the Eddie Murphy factor affected the selling price. Looks like a good clean car with recent maintenance.

I have an alert set on eBay for completed listings, it shows up when I click through the email. Try just searching the completed listings.

And 2 more sold in the last 24 hours via Ebay. Member meandmycorvette(?) got the white 89 and a 87 that looks like it sold the same day it was listed 11/29. The latter was a FL car with 34k miles Mid $50's. Any bets when it will be back up for sale?

Better make that 3. I know the person that bought the red 512 TR that was on Ebay last week. :)
From what I am seeing, the TR, 308, 328, Diablo and Maranello market are on fire now. Wouldn't be the least surprised if a nice TR won't be fetching $150K in the next year or so. This is one of the reasons I am back.

That seems to be a huge discrepancy for the 300K+. It must be less than 2000 miles or something to command that asking price. I mean you are crossing over into the 512M territory.
The one at Jakes is listed at $159K.

I really would love to figure out a way to short this ridiculous increase in certain models . These prices are funny -
