In all seriousness, great car, I love it.

The only thing I would like is a few inches bigger....love the size of the 360.

Very interesting! So the logic EgT unit tricks the ecu into thinking the cats (or no cats in your case) are operating properly?

Since this was not tuned on a dyno, can you comment on the driveability and smoothness on the powerband? Do you know if ignition timing was advanced compared to stock and if so, by how much? How's your fuel consumption compared to before?

Dyno tuning is not absolute. To perfect driveability, alot of tuners spend time street tuning .But the overall point is to tune while the wheels are moving. The tuner might have already done that with one car and perfected it to the best of his ability and transferred over that map to you and it is plausible it could work just fine since most 355 owners perform very similar mods.

This is really interesting. I haven't heard that before.

Although the overall styling of the 360 is slowly growing on me, the one thing I can't come to grips with is the size of it.

I followed one through the city a few days ago, and although I admit it is a good looking car, it was just too damn big to be a Ferrari supercar IMO.
It lacks the small, light, lithe appearance of its predecessors.
    Frankly, it's just too bloated.

I think Ferrari are beginning to recognise this.
The F12 is much smaller than the 599, for example.

The 355 is just damn beautiful. You sort of forget about that sometimes, but the other day, someone posted a pic of their 355 and I was just captivated by the cars beauty.

GerryD- beautiful car. I love the black wheels.

OK, back to the 308 section...

We get one ( a 360 ) in the shop and when its there i keep looking at it from various angles and i've yet to find one that the car looks attractive from. When i look at the front it reminds me of the gecko in the geico tv commercial . Take good care of your 348's and 355's , they are irreplaceable .

    Ferrari 360 = Kim Khardashian
    Ferrari 355 = Blake Lively

The 360 is all volume. The 355 is refinement.

I think he's referring to the interior, and I think that's one area the 360 is inarguably better - interior room and fit and finish.

I agree that Blake Lively is much more attractive but not sure about higher maintenance ;)

Thanks Dom....I can't wait to put both the challenge and GTB side by side for a photo shoot. One is at home and the other at the shop in the showroom.
Ive said this before. Sometimes I grab a beer and sit in the garage looking at the GTB and its lines. I was always impressed by the 308s lines but the 355 has taken it 5 steps further with lines that are simply unmatched. This is why the GTBs are hard to find....its hard to sell something so beautiful and is matched by the fun to drive aspect. Its like seeing that gorgeous blond across the room and later finding out that she has a brain as well....AWESOME!

Well. The 355 isn't THAT young, but she still has all the right curves in all the right places. Front and rear :) .... And definitely high maintenance.

Even though my 355 is Rosso Corsa over tan, I see her more as a brunette than a blonde.
