    Yes!
2 previous owners. 1,400 miles in 3 years then 300 miles in 2 years - sad.

    Bwahahahahaha! This is awesome!

    I bought a 1:43 diecast CS...you bought a real Scud.

How do you stand the weather this time of year with that garage of yours!?

Can't wait to hear about it!

Roma, are you adding a Specialé into the mix too? It would be the ugliest and worst-sounding addition without a doubt, but undoubtedly the most brilliant drive of the three. It'll make you look like a mini schumacher at the track!

Speciale owners please don't shoot, but was thinking of waiting until speciales are in the low 2s before buying one. Apparently the 458 replacement is so amazing looking it makes the Lf look ordinary, so I think within 18 months the speciale will be old news and will start to depreciate.
Also I haven't driven a speciale - I hear it is a great car but not raw like cs/scud (please don't shoot again).

I was thinking the opposite. Last and greatest naturally-aspirated V8 Ferrari. Sounds like this one could hold it's value pretty well. I hope you're right though as I'd love to pick one up. Only car I'd consider selling the scud for....

I think there is a good chance you could be right. The risk to speciale prices is if 458 replacement is amazing, turbos are electic or something so there is no lag, they still manage to make the cars sound great, all of a sudden "the last NA V8" argument falls flat. There are several beloved turbos in Ferrari history, F40, 288 etc so I don't automatically think turbo is bad. People seem to be pretty excited about the Cali T. I think I am just going to shut up, frankly I have no idea if a Speciale is going to go up, down or sideways.
The speciale looks like a great and I look forward to driving it.

Oh, please do tell...LaF looks on a V8 bi-turbo? I'm in! I already have the best ferrari sound in the stable, no need for another so I can look the other way for that in the next fcar.

The specialé isn't as raw yep, but w it's black magic ssc and super sharp steering it was no less fun to drive than a scud imho. It will let you do things you didn't think you could ever do and therein lies the fun, and it most definitely will paint you a better driver than you really are (which bothered me because i didn't know if it was me driving the car or the car driving me)...that became super apparent the minute I got into the next car which was a regular 430...my god, I was all over the place and ranting like a lil spoilt b**ch who got his toys taken away from him haha.

Historically, everyone always says that about every "limited" production model, but in the end?

I have no intel on this at all. I am just parroting a comment given to me second hand by a friend of a friend who was shown something at the factory. The exact comment was "The 458 replacement makes the Lf look old school ...".

That sounds pretty enticing, enough maybe to take the luster off the speciale, which whatever happens will remain a great car, just maybe not depreciation proof in the early years just like scud and CS before it.
