I don't follow that. It's not that we don't know which one we want, we want them all. I want one of every Ferrari ever built and in many cases more than one of each. Unfortunately I can't afford that so need to make choices. What this thread has shown is that both cars are great and it's very hard to pick one over the other.

It's what I like to call a high quality problem. Which Ferrari to buy? Nice. Wish all "problems" were like this.

I'll be honest the Stradale has as they say more soul, no other car is as raw, as loud and a pleasure to drive. I don't like saying it but I have nearly all of them and that is my choice.

Nope. You just don't get it. I don't want a better performing car, I want a better performing Ferrari.

Since you don't care about performance you don't need a stripped down, performance based 360 then, right? Any old Ferrari should fit the bill? Maybe a 348 with a performance exhaust so you can hear the car?

My argument is just as ridiculous as yours.

I want to see more awesomeness. more please.

CS & Scuderia are the last raw lightweight NA V8 Ferrari money can buy. Whether one is more "raw" over the other is debatable. I have also owned both, and don't think one is more raw than the other w nannies disengaged.

Step out of either and into a Specialé then you'll see what raw and not raw really is. Not taking anything away from the Specialé, it's just as fun to drive, but unequivocally, nowhere near as raw as either of the CS or Scud experience.

everyone who owns BOTH the CS and Scud keep saying the CS is more of the car they would prefer driving..it stirs the soul more of sorts (NOT the fastest or quickest...that argument is absurd and it is funny some CS owners are even claiming so!!!)

BUT there are still those who own the Scud alone or "moved on to a Scud" from a CS stating otherwise!!! then take the next step by subtly "bash" the Speciale as well!!!

This might be a stretch but I always felt the front of the speciale resembles a DustBuster from the 1980s. The rest of the car is beautiful though. U guys are gonna hate me... haha oh well

That's NOT the point I'm making. My point, again, is performance vs. value (or price or cost). The 2 don't match in the Ferrari world. Performance does NOT = price.

I think it's great that you love Ferrari and want a better performing Ferrari.

    LOL!

I do think the styling on the Spec is too aggressive, but it is still pretty awesome. I bet it looks surreal in person also - never seen one up close.

Thanks, it sounds better in person. it's proven challenging to truly capture the sound on video.

I have had 599XX and Ferrari race team owners come up to me and tell me that "it is by far the best sounding Ferrari, outside an actual F1 car, they have ever heard."

It's not about volume either. The pitch, full-bodied F1 howl throughout all rev bands and earth-rumbling but crisp cannon fire on downshifts is other-worldly...I have had this setup for almost a year now, and still giggle like a school girl every time I get in the car. I had a full tubi'd CS and can categorically say the Scud w my mods sounds way better.

GruppeM ram air intake, ECU tune, Capristo blankets, 4-1 headers, 100 cel race cats & s-line x-pipe exhaust.

Most folks are beyond happy w just the S-line exhaust but because I was one of the first to pioneer the S-line system for the Scud 2 years back, I just wanted more =)

I am a thorough F1 fan...my car, actually any NA Ferrari, will put the current turbo-v6 F1 cars to utter shame....such a sad state of affairs.

Sounds beautiful. 100 cel cats must be super loud it must wake the dead for sure ;)

F1 sounding ferraris are the best. If I could afford a scud I would definitely get your set up. Great taste.

Think I may get a 360 first since its cheap; timate titanium, fabspeed cats and headers, airbox and stradale ecu maps should sound quite heavenly.

Surprised you got that scud sounding so good! Better than a full exhaust on a 355. Such a shame the 458s and beyond lost the sound :(

But yeah, I'm an f1 fan too and once again props to you for modding your car how every owner should! Thanks for posting the clips!

I recently picked up an 09 scud and i love it!! I was planning on getting the 2015 gt3 but am intrigued by the CS. I want to make sure that this next car is a different type of driving experience. Would it makes sense to consider the CS or is that just a less powerful version of the scud? thanks!

Just take some time and do a SEARCH here ... SO many threads about it ... (Here is one of them ...)

Maybe it has nothing to do with less power but lots of emotion which a GT# cannot give you ...

Go drive the Challenge Stradale !!!
