Hi I am finding it very hard to find insurers that will insure my new 1987 GTS Turbo. Reason they give is that it is a car un-known to the UK market. Was wondering if any of you had experience of insurance companies/brokers that will be able to help. Many thanks Luis
That's a surprise. Who have you tried? I'm sure most of the classic specialists could deal with it. You need someone who doesn't just try looking it up on their office computer, with the inevitable response.

Locktons would probably be my first call, then others to compare. I'd be surprised if you get "computer says no" from them.
Success....Locktons were excellent and have agreed to insure the vehicle. They were the only people I found that would do it. Thumbs up to them!
