How many miles or years before the last belt change? What kind of crazy headers is the car running? Are those hyperco springs on the coilovers? If so, what are the spring rates? You guys are truely a 1 stop shop. I have never seen a shop be able to do it all and offer as much quality service and workmanship. Truely a unique business. Keep up the good work.
It's been 4 years and about 7k miles since the last belt change. Car was running fine but it had the original bronze guides and the leakage on one cylinder was getting a bit high (15%) so I decided to get all of the work done at once. The headers are Fabspeed installed by the PO who never had them coated or wrapped. So, I had them wrapped with header wrap (work was done by FoA) to keep the heat down. The springs are Hyperco, part of the DeltaVee sport suspension package. I would have to ask Rob about the spring rates.
I would have to ask Dan that question. I only had one cylinder w/ significant leakage so at least two exhaust valve guides were worn.
One cylinder was really bad that made a rebuild a sure thing. But most of the guides were fairly worn out. It's a shame the heads were not rebuilt during the recent engine rebuild. But she run perfect now and is fully sorted out.
