The point I was trying to make was to outline the general historical process that led up to the holocaust. Initially it started small; business were avoided BECAUSE they were Jewish, people treated worse BECAUSE they were Jewish. This person is inferior BECAUSE they are Jewish.


All I mentioned was persecution I said nothing about the holocaust...

Although this is very tangential you can see how little things add up and lead to the entire German people sanctioning (implicitly through inaction for some of them) the execution of an entire race of people. Albeit this forum is but a microcosm but if it were real life a few of you would have at least punched me by now...

Ironic how none of you can see the gang mentality that is forming here. I doubt the Germans noticed it either... (Maybe mr singhof can tell us what it was like for the German people at the time. I'm sure his parents/grandparents have stories and were witnessing it).

Do you even read? I'm talking about the general shift in attitudes that was required to facilitate genocide. That involves an examination of the general populace (I also mentioned those who were indifferent or couldn't/didn't stand up because public opinion was overwhelmingly against them). Are you that politically correct that you require every comment made about the holocaust to be prefaced with a story about the select few Germans that actually helped the Jews?
