Here is the man cave where we are building the streamliner for Bonneville. The Cobra has a 427OHC motor in it that was fresh in the crate before he built the car. Everything on it is either polished or chrome. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

As I was in my Man Cave (Theater Room/Bar) this morning to watch the F1 race I figured I would take a few pictures. Sorry for the mess on the left, I am rebuilding the bar area I also had a door open initially to help cool the room down. For Video the room has a 144" Carada Screen and a Panasonic 720p Projector (need to replace this thing soon). For Audio I have an Onkyo PR-5507SC, 2x Emotiva XPA-5s and 11.1 using Monitor Audio Speakers and a Emotiva 12" Sub. Tons of fun when people are over, only seats 5 though Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

This thread is old and needed a resurrection. I'm about finished with mine. It's small and I call it my "Escape Pod." It's F4-U Corsair themed. It goes with the fact that I was in "The Navy " and I love the Corsair. Soon, I will have clouds painted. Of course, the family calls it the Man Cave, hence the first pic. Here is my Man Cave/Home Theatre I built recently. Features include: motorized curtains from India covering a 10' wide 2.40:1 audio transparent curved cinemascope screen which I built, concealing Klipsch right left and center speakers in a Dolby 7.2 Surround system with Monitor Audio dipole surrounds, 2 JBL Subwoofers under stage, and York rear channels. Powered by a Yamaha Amp. It has stadium seating with electrically reclining seats that are Butt Kicker ready. (JBL Subs seam to have enough punch as is). Projector is a Sony VW60 with 35,000 to 1 contrast ratio which is beautiful to behold. I added a pivoting anamorphic lens in front of PJ to provide true Cinemascope. I also built a candy counter that has a soda dispenser, popper, and sink on a black granite top. I installed a fiber optic star map on the ceiling that is oriented to the sky. I have 16 light circuits for wall sconces, house lights, stair lighting, screen back lighting (to show off the Klipsch's), several mood lights, mini par cans (for karaoke nights) a keystone led above screen "DM" for Davenport Megaplex! I also did all the wood work on the columns, arches, counter, stage and hallway Marquee. It was a labor of love, and has paid many dividends by having family and friends over to socialize and have fun! Definitely some great man caves and garages on here. Thanks for sharing, a lot of inspiration in this thread! I'm watching the first game of the playoffs and surfing FerrariChat so I thought I'd share as well. Upstairs: I'd say I'm a "Middle of the Road" audiophile so I didn't go CRAZY, but I'm happy with the outcome. As you probably know, home audio can get real expensive.... REAL quick. The whole house is zoned and wired with Sonos, internet radio, home computers etc. In my actual cave I've installed a Dolby 5.1 home theater and hooked a mac mini up to the Samsung tv. Downstairs: Cars, tools, gear, bikes... and all the models my wife won't let me put in the house. At least she lets me put animals on the wall!!!
