Taz, I may be wrong but I think I read somewhere you can make clones, from an existing black FOB. If yes can you tell me time and cost? Thanks Dennis
Thanks Graham. I will check Marcello's website for other pictures. Do you happen to know the former Dutch registration? Unfortunately NAC is not doing too good at the moment. Hopefully they will regain some lost ground after the winter break. Gr. Martin
Well, I have the doc but not a great grasp of Dutch. The doc is as follows A Kenteken 63-RJ-KH B Datum eerste toelating 12-9-2002 Datum eerste inschrijving in Nederland 15-4-2005 I assume that A is the registration plate ? Could you help with B ? Thanks
It says first registered in EU 12 September 2002. First registered in The Netherlands 15 April 2005. License Plate 63-RJ-KH
Which is a bit strange as the car was supplied in 2002 buy a Netherlands main dealer, and serviced at that dealer prior to 15 April 2005. Something for me to investigate over the Holidays ! Terry thanks for all your advice and help recently. Best wishes for the new year. Graham
Spot on Terry! Graham, The car probably was registered in another EU country between 2002 and 2005; I suspect Belgium or Germany (temporary) plates. Gr. Martin
The plaque to the left of the driver was a listed option for $325 that touted Ferrari's six F1 World Championships. The image below is a reproduction version. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Martin- Pretty much all the 575Ms had one of those plaques on the driver side (for LHD). The years of championships varied with the model date of manufacture. Mine shows championships through 2002 since it was built in November 2003.
One of our European FChatters PM'd me details of his two 575Ms, one a very rare 3 pedal HGTC. He also let me know that another FChatter, who shall remain unnamed, totalled Euro 575M HGTC 3 pedal 138475, AN 56371 after purchasing her in April 2014, apparently beyond repair. HGTC manual 141671, AN 59422, Nero Daytona/Cuoio, Daytona style seats, battery charger, dedication plate, colored dashboard, shields, satellite navigator, rear shelf in leather, high power hifi with subwoofer, 23,000 kms, originally Dutch delivered, 3rd owner. 134323, F1, AN 51539, Rosso Corsa/Cuoio, battery charger, fire extinguisher, modular rims, rear shelf in leather, soft suit carrier set. First delivered to Italy, 2nd owner, 11.500 km. No Daytona seats, although those may be upgraded to Daytonas soon, no FHP. Since these photos were taken, the grille was changed to the 250 GT chrome version. Thanks guys. I just realized I ment the '575 Maranello' decal at the right side of the dashboard. Gr. Martin
Martin- She would have been built in late Spring 2005. I know 141041 was an April 2005 build because I have seen the data plate on the door. Incidentally, 134323 was a 3 pedal 575M, not F1.
List updated to include 140524 and 139934, both Euro 3 pedal 575Ms. 39 listed so far. One totalled. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Added two more HGTC 575Ms. Up to 40 now, but one of those was destroyed in an accident. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A Japanese friend just bought this very late J spec HGTC Superamerica 146880, AN 64121, Nero Daytona with Nero Daytona seats with Rosso stripes, stitching, and piping. Has a new top. Ferrari built a special 575M for Jean Todt, 126910, AN 44589 from one of the pre-production 575Ms. Finished in semi-gloss Nero, she had a black, pebble grain dash and instrument panel, quilted leather center console, and black 19" modular wheels, plus special plaques and signatures on the dash. The Assembly Number tells us it took them a while to get all the special parts together, since later SNs had earlier ANs.
