Taffy 12.1-12.5v is too low your battery will never be fully charged. A full charge battery is 12.6 minimum.

    Thanks Claude,

I will check it again tomorrow.
The first regulator was supposed to maintain it at 13.8v, it worked for about a week then it blew up.

Taffy, make sure you dont have a voltage drop for the regulator reading voltage. I don't know how they are set up but if you have a bad voltage at the regulator it will crank up the alternator to maintain it's reading voltage to normal. This makes the battery voltage to go too high.

Make sure to read voltage at the battery with a good meter. Don't trust the dash guage for diagnosing..

    Hi Claude,

The charging voltage now is between 13v - 14v.
I use the digital gauge that I install in the center console. This twin meter is direct from the two batteries.

    Hi Rob,

It is ok, we are still in troubleshooting stage. This is why I drive it almost everyday. Luckily it is holiday season until the New Year so the traffic has already dropped in half.
Funny thing today is that my 11-yo daughter saw it for the first time, then she went upstairs and played by Xbox one Forza Horison 2 and chose a Huracan. She never played any car games before bacause she didn't like cars at all. I guess she will start now :D

    OK I was wrong,
    The clutch is stiff :p

Tried to make this truck as a daily driver today. AC still problematic. I'm sweating like a pig inside.

Put her back in the garage and I changed into my M5. When I press the clutch I almost punched a hole on the M5 floor. It is very light :p
Everytime after trackday with the M5 I always go home in the 750iL, feels like a Rolls Royce.
Today I switched from LM in to M5 and it felt like heaven. I should've switched from LM to 750iL maybe I would fall asleep driving.

    Ok then...

Saturday and Sunday driving was not a heavy traffic and I am still getting 1km per liter (2.5mpg). Hahahah this is insane.

90 liters for a simple trip less than 90km?

"The good news is that the gearshift can be adjusted to tilt to the right side, no need to fabricate a custom gearshift stalk."

Interesting that Pro Drive missed that the gear shift is adjustable , it's spent the last 25 years set up for LHD

Maybe the previous owner's mechanic did that.
It is so easy to tilt it back and forth.

On Jan 1st I drove the LM from my house to Tony's office to pickup his BMW's front tow hook and bring it to his Apt.

On the toll road the car felt funny, on 4th gear the engine couldn't go past 3000 Rpm. I needed to use 3rd gear. A couple of seconds later the engine could not go past 3000Rpm in 3rd. I was worried about engine problem.
I exit the tollroad and now the car is really slow on 2nd gear.
On the traffic light there's a LOT of smoke coming from left and right. I immediately know it's a brake problem.
Parked the car in a supermarket parking lot and the top brake calipers left and right have seized, but the left one is worse.
So I called Prof Indra and took a taxi back home to bring my Pajero should I need to tow it.
He came into the supermarket and bleed the left and right top calipers, drove it to Tony's office and I followed from behind.

We checked the rotors, caliper, pads, all are OK. Rebleed the brakes.
Need to find those AP brake repair kit (seals) I guess.

On January 2nd I got high fever.
On Sunday I was positive for Dengue fever. Very common here, all of my friends, colleagues, church members, had caught one. My ex-wife had it once and My ex-girlfriend had it twice.
I suspect there's about one million case per year in this country of 250million population.
Dengue has become the bread and butter of hospital business in Indonesia.

Now I'm hospitalised with an IV on my right hand watching my thrombocytes/platelets drops everyday. It usually took 5 days until the human body fights back. I've seen too many of my friends had this I remember the medicine.

Oh well. Good New Year present from Aedes Aegypti mosquito.

    Thanks Tony.

Very boring resting and drinking liquids, while I feel dumber everyday as the thrombocytes drop.

Thank You for the well wishes guys,

In the rooms all cellphone signals are dead to ensure that patients rest, but we have free wi-fi with decent speed (I can watch Youtube fine).

I got dengue in Sri Lanka back in 1979. I was returning to Colombo from upcountry when the symptoms suddenly appeared and I felt so ill I could no longer drive. I sure lost some weight too! Make sure you rest up well and take your time to recover.....

P300V8: Yes, recovery needs time too.

It's a very common tropical virus.

My thrombocytes are still dropping like a rock.
