Its the RCR Superlight" SL- C. I Recognized it because I'm actually thinking of getting one after I retire. Home | Superlite Cars » Made in the USA, Engineered to Win Mike
That's really neat. I think there a was documentary or show on the builder some time ago. That would be a fun project. The 917 looks nice also.
Yeah, the SL-C is pretty remarkable. I found out about it by accident when I contacted "Fran" about his replica of the Lola T70. After talking with him for a bit, the SL-C seemed to be a better option. I've always had this mental block about "kit cars", but the SL-C is a purpose built street/track car the holds its own against the big boys on track. Stacy David has also been building one on his show "Gearz". Here is a nice video Fran made talking about it, along with some race footage: Superlitecars Superlite Coupe SL-C Update - YouTube Mike
Thanks guys. Very well designed car. I love there 917! Would rather have that... either one, would be fun to build!
Bruce Canepa in a real 917. Listen to that sweet engine, and how fast it can be shifted! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha2ZqP-Hnvc]Ride along in a 1969 Porsche 917K - YouTube[/ame]
This is a sweet family car, kinda like an amusement park ride every time you take the family out to lunch! I've never seen one in the Europe let alone the US. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
