What Andrew? I only hate the cs delusions of select fchatters on here and am very vocal / quick to highlight them ;)

    My top 3 hated delusions:
"CS is faster than a Scud."

"The shifts are just as fast as a Scud."

"Performance & speed mean nothing. It will only put my license in jeopardy."

    And oh, I'd rather get a Scud+CS+Cayman GT4 than a Scud+Specialé because:

    • Too poor for a Specialé
    • Too vain to be caught driving a dustbuster around town

    =D

I'm with ya there. However, you posted some comment the other day about CS owners/followers only wanting CS's because those folks think they're collectible. There's a reason they're going to be collectible; the looks, limited production, raw experience, sound, etc. Do those things make it better than a Scud? No (well at least in my book), but depends on who you ask. No doubt the Scud is faster, shifts faster, easier to drive, more comfortable, better technology, 4-5 years newer, higher original sticker price, etc. Do those things make the Scud better? No, but depends on who you ask. Threads re: Scud vs CS... always boils down to what actual buyer/owner wants out of the car. For some, speed/performance will far outweigh collectibility and for others it will be the exact opposite as a lot of CS owners I know have other 'performance' weapons in their quiver so having something collectible is desired. Both cars are awesome in their own rights, just a tad different. :)

As for the VIN, I'll post as soon as it goes on the open market. It's a one owner, black alcantara, yellow calipers, no stories, no accidents, no track time car.

Does it belong to an Fchat member who is also waiting for his Speciale? :)

I think we're on the same page; argument goes both ways brotha; folks are very quick to complete discount / write off all the positives of a scud without logic or rational.

When some folks talk about merits of the cars, the "monetary value" proposition is almost always the only counter argument brought to the debate...I've had both, back then I couldn't afford to keep/maintain both (I'm not a collector, I'm a driver), so the scud made more sense to keep and from the driver's point of view the scud checked off all the boxes and then some. but now I feel comfortable w the idea of owning & more importantly driving both in parallel again...some will shun the idea, but the CS will be daily driven, and equally daily pampered.

If I can't get a yellow one, I'll just get the black one that found itself in the bay. New owner says and I quote, "Sounds exotic but drives like sh!et." He is a viper+gtr guy, so take it as you wish.

my cs is lexan windows, radio delete, etc. the lexan windows are so cool looking but such a pain in the butt in real life when needing to swipe to exit a carpark etc. the slit is not that big and sliding the panel open and closed requires some dexterity. there is also the issue of rattles. but would i rather have glass, no way!!!

The sophistication of a race car :). I also like how they added a vertical black trim (is that plastic or metal?) to give it some F40 characteristics. It's a very Ferrari-ish feature to me.

This car was for sale at Cauley Ferrari but it's SOLD now. I just needed to share these photos of one of the nicest interiors I've ever seen in a Stradale.

Nero with black-red alcantara seats (instead of standard red-black)
    Black leather dashboard
    Stripe
    Fire extinguisher
    Yellow calipers
    Red stitching
Red Pranching Horse logo on headrest

Only thing missing is an alcantara dashboard and 4-point racing harnesses imo.

    Mileage 4782 miles

If the underside of the dashboard was red that would be the perfect interior!

The SCUD would be better with this version of the OEM Carbon Racing Seats, I still clearly remember the day I traded my CS for a SCUD, it wasn't the best financial decision I have ever made but the SCUD is so way ahead to drive, its as simple as that

Why are you so desperate for validation? This post is so ridiculous. Go start a SCUD thread. Nobody here cares.
