    He may mean the 4 buttons on the shifter trim, they also will get sticky over time

    Oh I didn't realize those got sticky too. I just cleaned mine with glass cleaner, no sign of problem with them yet.

    I used a piece of old credit card as a scraper, a toothbrush, and a small plastic dish of Greased lightning to do most of my interior in place. Windshield vents and vent dial recesses are all that's left. I was glad I didn't risk breaking them on removal. The card does not mar the plastic and I just followed up with Armorall treatment. Everything looks great, especially the center console. Tons of paper towels.
