Well I honestly don't know the rules well enough and thought he had it wrong. Now I saw the other angle and it clearly came out after. Mike and Nick how was that?

I agree with the reversal. Dez didn't maintain control on the way down.

BULL**** he was going to for the end zone homer

The NFL wants Seattle to win the Super Bowl. Its obvious. Game is rigged.

What about that "catch" that clearly hit the ground before the first half and gave them a field goal?

**** the NFL and their cheating officials

Oh, so much for not having to spend the post game jawing about the refs. Let's go Cowboys!

The ball came completely out of his hands, rules state you have to maintain possession all the way through to the ground.

Again, the referees are a topic as opposed to a great game that was played and fought hard by both teams

Referees will always be a hot topic. The real question is was that call made properly. If it was no reason to be mad.

It looks like his knees were not down before he lost the ball.

What a game! It is a shame the season has to end that way. The Cowboys looked like they had a real shot at winning that game but it's over now and the Packers move on. Good luck to them.

I tend to agree with you!!!! I was rooting for the packers but this was a call that made little sense to me.

Unfortunately what will be remembered is the officiating. When I first saw the catch in real time I thought it was great (even if devastating to the team I was rooting for). In slow-mo from different angles it did not appear he was able to hold onto the ball when he hit the ground.

What I will say is that the call on the field was a catch, and usually it takes fairly conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the field. The officials (assuming as some say it is not rigged in favor of a small-market current champion no one really cares about) must have been confident the call was incomplete.

Was there a controversial call in the Dallas-Detroit game last week? Which way did it go?

Alright let's talk qb. Romo had an amazing season, what happened today? Rodgers turned it up in the second half and worked some magic.

Which part do you disagree with? Here's a screenshot showing the ball completely out of his hands. Rules state you have to maintain control all the way through to the ground.

Again, I respectfully disagree. If you look through this thread, most of the banter has been reasonably well informed, on topic and civil. For example, while I think the Cowboys got ripped off on that play, I can say unequivocally that Aaron Rodger's performance was truly impressive given his injury status. GB manned up when they had to. And, Dallas showed a lot of heart today...T
