Was thinking of putting the chrome exhaust tips ... but there is NOTHING else on the car that is chrome .. what are your thoughts? Yes or No. If yes, what's the best place to get them .. if you can add a pic that would be sweet too.
I put them on my black f430, the trunk ferrari badge is chrome as is the horse in the rear grill, I dont recall where I but them from ..maybe Ricambi?
Had them on my 430 for 6 years look much better than standard tips , think they came from Hill Engineering UK.
I bought mine from Ricambi. They look much better than stock and tie in just as mentioned with the Ferrari emblems at the rear. I only removed them when I replaced my exhaust with a Capristo exhaust. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My car came with chrome tips and I like them. Prefer them over the stock exhaust tips. Easy to clean and I don't mind the extra bling on the rear.
We're do you get the tips? I have stock exhaust on my 430., what is required to put them on... Thanks
What color is the car? Maybe post some photos of the rear of your 430 as well. Chrome exhaust tips usually look pretty good on any car. When asked by customers, I normally suggest matching the exhaust tips with your wheels (IE- OEM or silver wheels with chrome/polish tips, Black wheels with Black Chrome/Satin Ceramic Coated tips) We offer slip on chrome tips for the OEM exhaust as well: Ferrari F430 Polished Slip-on Tip Covers - Fabspeed Motorsport

my 360 had standard tips, the new 430 i got came with chrome tips. i didn't think i'd like em, but they look great. my car is a dark blue (pozzi) so its a good contrast. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I chose black tips because there wasn't any chrome on my car and I felt it would clash. I purchased these from Ricambi which were a 1/3 the price from the nearest competitor. Ferrari Parts, Accessories, and Performance Products - Ricambi America, Inc. They slide over the stock tips and the Allen screws secure them to the stock exhaust. I then purchased stove pipe paint 1200 degrees and painted the inner pipes...100 miles later still holding up. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't think you can go wrong with chrome tips on any color car.. If you did black tips it would just look custom... Maybe better...maybe not... It's all what you like.. It's your car.
On a scud, yes black is the better choice, but on a 430, you see a lot of the side profile of the tip.. I think chrome looks good on all colors, but as another member posted his photo of black tips on a silver car, that looks great.. Ties in the black of the trim, tires etc.. On my black car, I thought black tips would be too hidden.
I have chrome tips on my red spider. They look great. Easy install. Put them into place and tighten a screw.
