Wonderful. I see that you are a very well experienced exotic mechanic. I like your website and your shop is very clean. Congratulations. Glad to find someone like yourself here. I hope that if I have any issues with my F12 I could maybe run them by you here. My dad was a aircraft mechanic during WWII and then a shop mechanic. I was his "assistant" for many years until he died. Grew up in junk yards pulling off parts and repairing domestic cars. Have an fancy office job now but still do all my own work - unless it needs specialized computer diagnostic tools.

I've seen repair bills posted on this site that can choke a horse! The parts prices posted here are astronomical. $200 for a $10 wax thermostat? $1500 for an oil change? I truly love my F12 and certainly hope it holds up and I have as little of that part of the Ferrari experience as possible sort of speak.

 

Try to relax and enjoy the car. Ferraris cost money to own but usually not out of line with other high-maintenance toys.

 

Might be an internal fault with the belts separating from the tire carcass as I mentioned in post 13. Not unheard of, especially with Pirelli's.
