Olivier, did you receive my email?
Not sure how common the original instruction manual is for a Silhouette. Image Unavailable, Please Login
they are not so rare in lamborghini manual world they made many more manuals than cars...probably because they overstimated production of the car ...
Hi, I bought Silhouette #40052 in the summer so let me introduce myself... This is my first Lamborghini although I have had a few classics and currently have a small collection of classic BMWs. I like to use my cars and gradually improve them as necessary, usually to make them more drivable (I'm just fitting brighter lights to the Sil after a following friend pointed out indicators and brake lights were barely visible in bright sunshine) or to get them back to their original condition. It would be nice to get #52 back to Rame Colorado with its original interior and that is my long term plan for the car - does anyone have pics of it before it was red with tan leather? I've had a few outings in it so far, the most notable being the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace where it was the only Lamborghini. In the off season that is starting about now it'll be in the workshop I share with friends under going some rust proofing and other minor jobs. Let the fun begin...! Welcome onboard and congratulations with your purchase! There are a few ex-owners for #52 on the forum but all of them owned the car when it was already red. Would be great to see the car in its original Rame Colorado as it was the only Silhouette delivered in this colour.
Hi Richard, Sorry for not ringing you - again! 40006 was out and about yesterday. Please PM me your email address...
Are there any Silhouettes in the Los Angeles area, or in the midwest? I will be visiting LA around Christmas time and I am looking to capture the headlights popping up on a Silhouette for a project I'm doing. Thanks! Chris
40052 was a European car with naturale colour scheme, comprising brown mousehair dash and console, senape leather door cards, seat sides and central stripe and naturale cloth seats and central panels on the door cards. The interior would have looked the same as 40000 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/140378703-post233.html Unfortunately cloth is no longer available so a substitite will need to be found. However for the dash, Alcantara in the right shade should be available but fitted reverse side up to emulate mousehair.
Thanks. I'm interested in doing the seats first as they are fairly straightforward if a suitable cloth substitute can be found. Does anyone know of anything suitable?
I'm missing my trunk/boot light lens. Does anyone know if this is shared with another car (a Fiat or Alfa perhaps?) so I can order one or try and track one down? Many thanks, Richard Image Unavailable, Please Login
With a P111 selling at auction for $115k what price is a Silhouette? I thought this one looked expensive at 150k Euro but now I'm not so sure...CarTrading CT-Car Sarl in Howald
The red Illariucci car 40054 can just be seen in the bottom pic behind the Espada.... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143669134-post13331.html
By my reckoning just four cars had double deck side/indicator lights with early bumper before the later bumper with twin colour lenses was introduced. One of these is 40020 picture taken at Sant' Agata in May 2014. This setup was also seen on a few Urracos. Image Unavailable, Please Login
