Yeah I think it looks neat! And yes it is the correct era. I'm surprised there are still originals of this wheel available but someone like eurospares can't find you a stock euro wheel.

    Crazy huh...

Many times, the wheels are shown on sites but are rarely available. Takes lot of effort and time tracking down.

Sherpa23 has many wheels on his wall. I'm envious...

Looking for a wheel center more like this one (on sherpa's) without the outer lip... So it's more recessed or flush. I'm 99% there.

    See the difference?

The raised outer ring belongs on a wheel with a thin metal hub. Like everything else, Robb, I know you'll find what you need.

the new wheel looks great.. matches really nice.. I prefer this one over the oem 3 spoke from the early cars.. where did you find it..?

I dont know if its legal or not in Canada..
but in th US, youre allowed to remove a wheel with airbag to a wheel with no aribag..?

ive always wondered if the airbag on these cars would even deploy on a front impact given their age..?

Looks great Robb! I believe you could have added a resistor in place of the airbag to prevent the light and not have to worry about having it reset if you decide to put the airbag back on.

Just measure the resistance on the airbag terminals and use that value, dont worry they wont blast off they need lots voltage to do that
They fall in the 2-10 ohm range. use a 1/2 watt resister
