There seems to be a lot of interest in your books Tim! You might be able to make a small dent in the restoration bill if you price them right! ;-)

I have to say I am staggered and flattered at the interest with probably 70 people on the list. Could it become a collectors item!?

    It's only well deserved.
This is one of the most documented build, on one of the most iconic cars, with lots of insight and pictures. More than half a million views speaks for itself.

I think you should do a collector edition of the book including a signed copy and a ride in the car :p

I'd like both volumes as well if you end up doing more than 40... Maybe two runs of 40 are in order ;)

You should do a number run off 99, I'm sure you'd sell them all!

I have to say that exact thought occurred to me as I would then be true to the marque! that would also mean in theory producing one less than the market demands, however, right now I like the sound of 40..............

Hi, how about printing 40 times 40.....due to the demand?

The first batch of 40 preferably in an Limited Edition Box.......

Everybody will be glad, including me, hahahahaha!

    Regards:)

    Hello Tim,

It's my first post. I signed up just to view this thread. It's 4 am in the morning now and I have read every single page from start to finish starting at 9 pm when I got into bed thinking I was going to have an early night.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Mega car, mega thread and mega kudos to you, Kevin, Collin and Jim for sparing no expense and time in bringing this fabulous car back to life and better than factory IMHO. I can only imagine the frustrations and tears it must have brought to your life, but let's face it...the end results speaks for itself. It's bloody well worth it!

And yes, please do a Ferrari and produce "just one more" book for me. A3 sized preferably so I can leave it on my coffee table. Expense be damned. Do it right, do it the first time.

On that note, I'm off to bed to dream of bright red F40 LMs. Truly the car dreams are made of...

    Sincerely,

    Eugene

I have been following this thread since the beginning. If more than 40 books are produced, I would love the opportunity to purchase one.

    OK latest update.

After much proofing, I have come down to the format being 70 page A3 Lay Flat in a cover and in 2 volumes. This, as the name suggests , means you can open the book and lay it flat as otherwise with the non lay flat, although I can get more pages and thus even more detail in the book, there is a very good chance of them weakening over time and falling away from the spine.

These are a few shots from one of the proofs from Volume 1.

More detail to follow as I start to close in on pricing.
