    Your offer or someone else's?

My advise is pay more and get a no stories car From someone you can fell good about. This should be a lot more fun than your having and their are plenty of good 348/355s out there.

    Good luck....

Not me ... I don't get into situations where the seller is not forthcoming about the car's history and condition .... this would be F car no 4 for me and so far I got burned only once and that was not so much in the purchase but in the subsequent restoration where Dennis McCann charged me top dollar and then some for an engine overhaul and the car peed oil all the way from Ohio back to CT, among other things ... and I think I am leaning toward a 328 in any case

Just and update for you 348 guys. Looks like the ZFFFG36A8L0086087 is back on the market, or it would seem that way. The car that was last seen in Texas is making it way back to the online used car sites. Thought I would reach out to the seller an see what kind of response I got. This is what he replied.

    Hello,
I was thinking and the best mode how we can make the deal will be COD. I will send the car to your home address COD ( CASH ON DELIVERY ) so in this way this will be a safe transaction for both of us. As you probably noticed, the price is rather low, the reason why I'm selling the car at this price is because I have to pay 15.000 US$ for registration here in Holland (Netherlands). The car is here in my garage in Holland. At this moment, I can drive the car here, because the insurance is still available until next month, but when the insurance will expire, I can't drive it anymore here, and will be necessary to register the car here. I can't spend 15.000 US$ for registration and I think that the best solution is to sell it. Now, I can't come to USA to sell the car because I'll spend money and lose more time, my only chance to sell this car is to find a buyer in the U.S. or another country, to send it with a transport company. I can send the car to your home address and the transport will take approximately 10 working days. After you will receive the car you will have another two days to inspect it. After the inspection period ends, the transport company will ask you if there are any issues with the car. If the car it's different than as I described, or you don't like it, you can refuse the transaction, and the car will be sent back to my address , on my expense. If everything it's ok and I'm sure it will be, you will be able to transfer your name in the title to your local DMV. I think, that this is the best mode, for you and for me , how we can make the deal , because in this mode , you have the opportunity , to see the car and verify the car BEFORE I receive my money for it. Now , in case , that you accept , to make the deal , in this mode PLEASE SEND ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND WE WILL TALK ALL DETAILS OVER THE PHONE.
Thanks and I am waiting for your reply!
    Albert
P.S. I have sent you more pictures with the car.

Are there REALLY no others you guys can look to buy without putting up with complexities of sale like this? Also from his view, I find it hard to believe he can't sell it a little closer to home?

Oh I am 100% sure this is a scam. In fact, I can't think of a single thing that would be delivered COD with 10 days of evaluation.
