    Hello,

I just changed the L.H driveshaft seal and o-ring on my 348, however the leak has grown substantially. I have confirmed the gearbox number (late model) so I believe I have the correct seal, however it is still leaking.

The leak is definitely from the seal and not the 19mm bolt and the o-ring is also working.

Picture attached. Anybody have similar issues before?

This seal was purchased from Superformance - part LH Differential Oil Seal

    Thanks

On closer inspection, it appears the RH seal was sent instead of the LH with both parts having different part numbers. Im guessing this would be the cause?

Many modern seals are "directional" meaning the seal is designed specifically to accommodate a certain direction of rotation to aid in preventing oil leakage. You probably have the one for the opposite side ?
