Thank you for sharing this with us. I bought a 2013 Adventador with the mere 700hp :) and I love the car.

I can see a few differences the exhaust is the most obvious. It is different I am not sure it moves the needle on the dial either way for me.

My Aventador has been very reliable. I am on my third Lamborghini and none of these gave me any trouble. My Ferrari's have been perfect as well.

Enjoy your car in good health.

    Best

Should be more than 720hp right? 750hp?

Honestly I think the Murci SV looks way better.

IMHO the wheel design is too busy.

I like it but it looks undercooked. Some elements look half done, such as the "SV" decal design and placement and especially the wing and its rather awkward integration into the rear bodywork. I'm still not sure about the bodywork - coloured "lip" at the front either. The aerodynamic redesign on the 50th looked more radical and aggressive to my eyes.

    Agree.
The 50th Anniv bodykit is already perfect.

I'd get the front lip (the red bit) and in the rear painted black or in carbon.

    Blue nova exterior or black
Big SV logo in Italia colours
black wheels, preferably a different design
    black calipers
    black alcantara with blue stitching

i think this avent sv is the perfect all time lambo. insane looking, super fast, loud, big ass wing, and overall outrageous. other than laf, this would be my choice if i wanted an over the top hyper car. better than p1 and 918. no turbos, no hybrid and high rev v12. just wish they added the dual clutch from the hurracan instead of old school single clutch

I was actually hoping it would stay with the ISR gearbox. It might be worse, but it's very fast (as fast as the DCT) and IMO a single clutch brings more emotion than a DSG unit...

I haven't driven the isr but the one in the Gallardo was awful. slow to shift and very rough

can make a dct emotional by changing the fuel flow during shifts to cause head to hit the seatback

I prefer the LP670-SV than this.

    It looks so 'aftermarket'..

ISR and whatever was on the Gallardo are completely different systems. I'm no engineer so can't explain the differences between a normal automated manual and an ISR box so google or a more knowledgeble poster will have to explain, but ISR is very quick, just not as smooth as a DSG type thing.

ISR is different. In sport mode, probably one of the more engaging single automated clutch gearboxes out there. It is raw and requires some thought to use without the herk-a-jerks, but it is NOT slow I can assure you of that.

I think probably the best all-around single automated clutch is the Superfast II Ferrari model. It figures just when they get it right they dump it and go DCT on the 458/F12/FF/Cali. DCT is great in some ways but it is certainly less "emotional" and less "mechanical" feeling. As a daily driver / city car of course DCT is eons ahead of anything listed above...

I'm still a hardcore three pedal guy but if I had to drive single automated clutches give me ISR or SFII.

I guess I should have posted this a lot sooner. I could be way off but, I think the back of this looks a lot like the SV (without the wing). I took this picture just outside the factory the first week of October 2014. [IMG]
