    both 1:43

    I have around 250 models.
Most large scale models are sold over the years, just the really rare will never go. ;-)

Most of the time I find better or rarer models than the ones in my collection.
Because I don't keep doubles, a lot is sold over the years, mostly to collectorfriends or ebay.
That way I keep the cost down, and the collection "lives" because there are allways new ones on display.

New ones is not allways better, it depends on rarity, quality and the builder.

The Rosso TR is going to replace a similar kit from a different builder I allready have several models from him. Its my first Rosso, an opportunity not to miss!

There will also be a Steven Barnett in my collection in a couple of weeks! :)

Hoarding is easy, building a collection will allways be a work in progress.

    Hi Hans,
Impresive. I like them all but I finish to collected. I wish to have a great display to stock them,
Something different and praticle but until today it wasn t possible.
Perhaps in few years I will dedicate time and trying to have a room for them.

It s always a pleasure to see selective models and rare.

    Best

Congratulations Hans, that 500 Superfast is a rare one. I also have one, in blue, great models. One of the best 1:43rd models ever produced by anyone.

Took a few years to find a good one, most are damnaged over time, and they are difficult to repair, patience did the trick..

found another pretty rare one today, fleabay can be interesting.

    330GTS

2 years ago the prices for these older amr's and Le phoenix Ferrari's were crazy.
Now is the time to buy them for a reasonable price, who knows what they will do in a few years ;-)

Shown are two from my collection Honda & Brabham. The Repco Brabham I stumbled across on evil-Bay of all places. Could not believe my luck. Just found/bought the Brabham a couple of weeks ago!

The Honda V-12 on the left with the painted black engine & other parts is slightly more common, though I haven't seen one for sale in years. I bought the Honda at a swap meet over 30 years ago. Much more rare is the Repco-Brabham.

These models were both produced around 1970, in Japan by Kanda, a small specialist company. They are ALL brass! The bodies were formed over a wooden buck. Other parts are cast brass, and brass wire. The only non-brass parts are the rubber tires and vacuum formed windscreen.

The quality and meticulous detail is impressive, especially considering when these were made.

I forgot to mention..... Kanda also made a Ferrari V12 F-1 car to go with these...... I've only seen two of the Ferrari in person; one was over 30 years ago when I bought the Honda, and the other one a friend has, and I hope to buy it from him one day.......

Christian, I am really happy you and Fred found it thanks my friend!

I hope you and Fred will come to Retromobile in 2016 ( I will ;-)
Its THE place to meet international in Europe!

The SM12 is a rare one, the only thing that puzzles me, is its size!
Its bigger than the other early bbr's. I Have a mint red sm12.

Marshall, very nice pieces, never heard of these before, (knowledge is the key in our hobby) good luck with the search.

    Hans
