$100 ain't what it used to be... chump change in today's markets... more importantly it is a filter to limit casual gawkers without a genuine interest and free running un supervised rug rats, allowing those with a sincere interest more time and space to enjoy the exhibits... it also funds respectable trophies as to recognize the recipients for their efforts to display their cars and maintain the marque... an event of this scale is not all pro bono

+1 to what has been said above. I spent a lot of money (to me) shipping my Ferrari out there and attending all of the Cavallino events, seminars, and parties.

However, I can say that I truly had the time of my life. Of course, it was great winning the two Platinums :), but the entire experience was absolutely top notch and worth every penny.

I wouldn't bat an eye opening my wallet for a $100 ticket to Ferrari heaven.

Guys...I am not complaining about the ticket cost...I was not able to get there until 3 pm. I would have gladly paid the fee if we were able to get there in the morning..And I plan to do Pebble Beach this year.

Gentlemen......... Gentlemen..... this is getting a bit embarrassing to read all this hate toward a NJ Ferrari owner.
The only way to do Cavallino in one day is just be outside at 7 Am.... Watch and listen to the cars and the people. You learn so much it is crazy.
So next year make a point not to be there at 3pm. I am usually there with the 6885 car, and learn lots just by the people stopping by to chat. Some people who own a ferrari tend to shout at people because their dollars are more important than your dollars.

For example the guy that owned the LaFerrari, acted like a complete jerk, shouted at my sister "To Get Out of the way....". Later he came by and said he was sorry, that he 'had a car he had to get on the golf course'. Well little did he know that the golf course was not going anywhere, and he was not on "my" list of important jerks to listen to. In his world he owned something..... or should be look after in a different way.... or something........ I don't know. but his new car would not have touched the prices on the front lawn when the preston henn car is worth north of 60 million dollars.

But people can be jerks. Not all of us are. So come out and experience the magic of the cars.
